The poster says it all. Three different short films in one movie. Not so different though, since all of them are interconnected with each other, as shown by the characters from one film making a cameo in the other film.

Film 1 is about an Indian immigrant is being cheated about coming to work in KL. Film 2 is about an old granny who misses her old Kuala Lumpur days, indirectly criticizing the way the city has been developed. Film 3 is about a young Malay boy trying to overcome his self-insecurities in getting into romance.

Some memorable shots too. Dancing clowns in an empty Bukit Bintang night. A bus stop with the blurred face of Bosskur (akin to Nam Ron's Jalan Pintas). Appearance of Sofi Jikan's character with red fog in the background. Cinema lah!

And Ruminah Sidek's acting!

I found another layer of this film. It is saying that each of our lives is a roll of film with our stories. And it does interconnect and affect others. Like how Joseph Campbell often referred to life as a web, suggesting everything is interconnected. Our actions and choices ripple outward, affecting others and shaping the collective human experience. 'The Web of Life'.

Also, Film 3 is related to Carl Jung's take on your 'Shadow' which represents doubt and rejection towards the potential of self-growth. It is presented as a nameless character played by Sharifah Armani which can also be of his 'Animus' which is the 'woman' side of a man. She teaches him self-confidence and disappears as the film ends. The boy started off by approaching the girl next to him at the monorail stop.

Watch this gem of a Malaysian cinema on Disney Plus!
