It's Christmas time and Jake and Cassie have been struggling to set a date for their wedding. As Jake goes to visit Cassie at her shop he spots Leon Deeks, a man he arrested ten years before and finds out he was released from prison, but expects he is up to no good.
Brandon is friends with Leon's daughter and when Cassie's wedding ring disappears Lori wants to ask her if she may have picked it up, angering Brandon.
Martha and Mayor Tom lost all their real estate investments and he tells her she needs to cut back on spending and get a job.
After Cassie and Jake settle on a date for the wedding it becomes a struggle to make sure it goes off without a hitch, especially since everyone knows Leon is back in town. Then there is Cassie's records that cannot be found in order to get the marriage license.
Can Brandon and Lori settle their differences or will it make thinks worse when Jake tries to help? Will Leon turn over a new leaf or will he pull off a Christmas heist?
I feel like in this movie, Martha is the character with the most growth. She learns to better get along with other people in Middleton. I especially love her conversations with Cassie.
The one thing about this movie I did not like is Isis, Cassie's cat, is not shown, let alone mentioned. I hope you will check out this movie and the first two. They can be viewed on youtube.
