It's Sunday, and that means I'm one day late publishing my #SaturdaySavers update. Here it is....
But I've got an excuse - I was away for the weekend visiting relatives in Yorkshire, and call me old-fashioned, but I think it's rude to be doing online things when you are someone's guest.

Here's my table of progress for the week;
How Did The Week Go ?
Even allowing for posting a day late (making it effectively an 8-day reporting week), it was a really good week.
HP
I had a couple of posts last weekend that performed well and got picked up in curation trails, which gave me a total gain of 50HP, which was the best for ages !
HBD
Those posts also led to a really good gain in HBD. That's a good thing, because although I'm still DCA'ing into HBD each week, it's relatively small amounts while the price of HIVE is relatively low. I'm still ahead of my HBD target, though 😀 For what it's worth, I've stopped using Ecency Trade Tokens to turn HIVE into HBD, because the price usually works out very slightly better by using Hivedex.io. Eventually I'll learn how to trade on it.....
LEO
LEO's gain of 298 was made up of LEO earned and bought plus 150 LEO powered up on LPUD. Some of the LEO I bought was by doing a big sell-off of dust and Tribe Tokens I'm not too interested in, and that plus taking advantage of a dip in price helped me get a good quantity at a great price. I did the obligatory LPUD post, which you can see at https://inleo.io/@alonicus/leo-power-up-day-may-2024 - looking back over it, I think I was feeling a bit rebellious and subversive when I wrote it, but I wouldn't change any of it !
EDS
EDS are continuing to build up slowly and steadily, with most of my EDS earnings now coming from my @eds-vote delegation. I'm continuing to increase both my EDS and LEO delegations each week, and both are (finally !)
SBI
What can I say about SBI ? I love them, that's what ! It'll probably be the first of my social metric 2024 goals to hit 100% (LEO will still be first, but that's just a case of buying lots of them !)
Social Metrics
Overall, I'm very slightly down on my post count goal, but everything else is on track. One metric which shows how consistent I am is that my reputation appears to increase by 0.07 every week without fail. I know it's a totally meaningless thing, really, but it still makes me feel good to see it creeping upward 😁
So that was my week - I hope yours was as good !

If you are one of my friends reading this (or just someone who tripped over one of my posts), I really recommend this as a great community that's well worth joining.
I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.
So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !

Right now I cannot really diversify. I am more just focused on HP growth.
Yep, HP is the foundation everything rests on, except maybe HBD which have their own separate role. But if in doubt, HP growth will fuel everything else and allow you to convert HIVE to HBD further down the line.
