When mining companies and steel smelting companies (ArcellorMittal) are leaving the job losses will be off the charts.
Yesterday whilst driving past what seemed to be hundreds of jobless workers hanging around on the local street corners on the slight chance they may get a temporary job for the day it got me thinking. These guys are given a R350 grant each month because they are unemployed which is less than $20.
$20 is nothing especially if you are the breadwinner in the house because $20 would not feed one person let alone a household. The temporary jobs may give them R100 or R200 for he day if they are lucky to get picked by whoever drives past. This is like an informal job center for the unskilled earning cash in hand tax free jobs. At work we use their services for off loading containers and I know many other companies who have retrenched and restructured do so as well.
This unfortunately is the bleak future for the masses and it is down to the lack of opportunity and the real ability to earn. My online crypto earnings which are in the region of $1300 monthly or there about which is roughly R24K would be a good 60X than what the average unemployed is earning monthly.
We are definitely fortunate to not only have this type of knowledge and skill which we can fall back on in hard times if needed. Just having this ability to earn places us in a different league entirely and this is in a market that has lost 90% of it's value. In many ways this is as bad as it can get so in my case the $1300 will only increase not only through prices rising, but also as the stake grows.
In 5 years from now as long as the growth is consistent the average monthly crypto earnings should be close to or on par with those working a full time job. As the crypto projects start to mature I see the bottom rising meaning this should only increase in value and in may cases should double considering we are talking the next 5 years. The $1300 could easily become $4000 monthly which is not out of the realms of possibilities and a crazy thought either.
This I do see as crypto's greatest gift allowing those who know how a chance to earn which will make all the difference in the future. With the thought of mass unemployment in the future and possibly a type of Universal credit being paid out to the masses having other earnings will be crucial. This is one of the main reasons governments are anti crypto because you are now out of their control especially if you are earning consistently. This is a good enough reason why we must continue to carry on growing making sure we are or reliant on any state funding and remaining financially independent.
We all know that the funds the country generates is being directed into the wrong things and being stolen.
The ANC is keeping itself in power by using every tactic possible to stop their main voting population from understanding that they are not doing a good job.
One of the ways this happens is by keeping people poor and desperate. Those people standing on the side of the road can't be bothered with politics because they are trying to survive.
So when a rally comes up, and a little bit of food is doled out and promises are made, then they vote that party.
