Wedesday Is GCOTI Boost Day In The COTI Treasury

Wednesday means only one thing if you have COTI staked in the Treasury and it is the day you receive your GCOTI rewards. This is rather important for your growth because of their boosting APR potential plus the overall dollar value they hold.

This week I am due to receive 168 GCOTI that is calculated from the 4 staking pools I have. There will be another 32 GCOTI arriving during the course of this evening.

This may not seem like much but this is over and above the 32 COTI I am earning daily and this is literally a bonus over and above what was expected. This is basically an extra $19.85 being added to the portfolio each week and more importantly boosts the COTI earnings by roughly 0.1% on my biggest COTI stake.

This is a total dollar growth of around $46 weekly if you combine the COTI and GCOTI earnings. I am definitely not complaining considering where the price is currently and this is expected to rise significantly over the next 18 months. In the future I expect to see COTI over $1 and see that as a given so the 400 combined tokens being earned weekly is worth far more than the $46 we see today.

As you can see from this stake the GCOTI offers a maximum APR of 27.4% which is seriously big when staked on a 1/1 with COTI and GCOTI. I am only earning a 9.51% boost ad missing out on the extra 17.73%. This is not a major concern as the 23.65% APR is more than decent enough and this number will slowly rise over time.

Currently where we are in the crypto cycle it makes no sense going and chasing GCOTI when the prices are the same or are similar in value. I would want far more COTI when the comes time to sell and the investment needs to be on COTI instead.

During the next cycle once I have sold my COTI and buying back in I will somehow get my hands on more GCOTI maximizing the earnings that is on offer. For now this makes more financial sense to ignore GCOTI because there is no guarantee GCOTI will continue to be the same price as COTI in the future.

In the meantime I will just carry on looking forward to every Wednesday and staking the GCOTI rewards as they arrive. Within the next 18 months if this continues as is then I can expect to receive around another 10K GCOTI which would significantly boost my overall COTI earnings. I still see no reason why a 200K COTI target cannot be achieved by the year end and maybe with a stroke of luck achieve 250K when we see the ATH's later next year.
