The past few days have seen a lot of developments come to the leoverse. The new UI was launched in alpha yesterday and boy is it looking good! Everyone that hasn’t tested it out yet needs to go take a peek. Project blank has been unveiled as well and these just mean one thing, a brighter future for LeoFinance, a better and stronger community, and a stronger token price.
My alt account is officially 2 months old now and after today’s PUD, would’ve seen 2 LPUDS. I mentioned in my Leo Progress February report how I moved up my LP goals significantly in order to drastically reach cub status. I plan to cut down heavily on my cub-goal timeline from a year to half of the year if it’s possible.
In light of that, I’ve committed to powering up at least 300 LEO every month now starting last month February. But aside from these powerups, I also mentioned that I’ll be saving 50 LEO every month because as important as it is to power up and build my stake, it’s important to always have a little liquid on you to be able to take advantage of pumps. A lesson the recent Hive pumps have shown me.
Before the last LPUD, my account literally had 0LP and 0LEO. I was however able to power up 285LEO to take my LP to 285LP which it currently sits at. I’ve collected 330LEO over the course of the month to power up for this February’s LPUD.
Now Like I stated earlier, the plan is to power up 300 LEO every month, but seeing that my last month’s power-up was 15LEO short of 300, I plan to pay that 15LEO debt today to fill in the gap in the numbers and get a nice whole own LP of 600LP. In addition to the 600LP delegation I’m receiving from my main account and complxty, this should give me the voting power of a 1.2KLP account. I know for sure already that I’m loving the curation rewards from back a month ago when my account had an effective voting power of 800LP, so 1.2KLP voting power definitely will be awesome to have.
And now the power up
As you can see, my account currently holds 285LP of its own and 330LEO.
I powered up 315LEO to round my own LP to 600LP, putting me at a 1.2KLP effective voting power.
As for my savings, I’m supposed to have received a contest prize of 50LEO from HODL community for winning one of their hosted contests like 2 months ago. By the time you read this post, the contest prize might have already been sent. You might not even find it in my wallet anymore because I plan to move my LEO savings to my main account to hold it there, otherwise, I’ll end up powering it up someday soon. Lol
Truth is, I might end up sending it back to my alt to power up eventually because I haven’t been writing much recently because I traveled and don’t get much time to write as I used to, so if my earnings for this month show insufficient, I might even have to supplement it with funds from my main account. It’ll be totally worth it though because I believe in the future of LeoFinance.
