Let’s try this again……

in LeoFinancelast month

Afternoon everyone ….

As I stated yesterday, there was an issue with my “May the fourth be with you” post on Saturday with PeakD.

Well I refuse to not have a quality post for the celebration of Star Wars. So I’m going to do another post for this celebration.

If you didn’t know the original Star Wars film was released all the way back in 1977. It was released on May 25th of that year. But in order to make the pun on words, they decided to use May fourth. At least it’s the same month.

I’m going to share a bunch of pieces of the Star Wars theme. I have probably close to a hundred different pieces of silver depicting Star Wars. Between government issued coins and hand poured amazing art pieces.

This first piece was given to me by my fellow brother @enginewitty at last years Las Vegas meet up. It’s a limited edition collectors piece and it’s totally badass.

Here’s a description and specs of the coin….

2022 Niue 1 oz Silver Grogu in Pod Shaped Coin - Star Wars The Mandalorian .999 Fine (w/Box & COA)

Bullion Exchanges brings you the 2022 Niue 1 oz Silver Grogu in Pod Shaped Coin! Despite its otherworldly appearance, this product is a legal tender coin - bearing a face value of 2 dollars. This Star Wars-themed coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and bears a proof finish that has been partially colorized. This officially-licensed Lucasfilm Ltd collectiblearrives inside a specially designed display case, within Mandalorian-themed packaging. Only 10,000 total of these gorgeous Grogu coins were released, so silver bounty hunters will need to move fast. Grab your 2022 Silver Grogu in Pod Coin now!

Gaining widespread popularity as the breakout star of the show The Mandalorian, Grogu is a force-sensitive Jedi and Mandalorian foundling who belonged to the same species as Jedi Grand Master Yoda. This led to him being fondly referred to as “Baby Yoda” by many Star Wars fans across the world. The Mandalorian bounty hunter named Djin Djarin was hired to retrieve Grogu, and after becoming attached to little “Baby Yoda” Djarin started calling him “the Child”. Instead of delivering The Child to the Imperial Moff Gideon, Djarin instead handed him over to Luke Skywalker to train Grogu as a Jedi.

The obverse displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by inscriptions.

The reverse featured a colorized Grogu sitting innocently in his hover pram.

Coin Specifications:

Limited Mintage of 10,000
Made from .999 fine silver with a weight of 1 troy oz
Partially-Colorized Proof finish
Produced by the New Zealand Mint
Issued by the country of Niue
$2 (NZD) denomination
Each coin arrives in compact Mandalorian packaging, with a built-in window for easy display. Accompanied by a COA.
Obverse: Features the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II”, “NIUE”, “TWO DOLLARS”, “2022”, along with the weight, purity, and Lucasfilm copyright.
Reverse: Shows a green Grogu sitting in his hover pram, as seen in the show “The Mandalorian.”
I am totally stoked to have this piece. Thank you again @enginewitty.

Now onto the hand poured art….

I easily have over sixty pieces of hand poured Star Wars silver. Some pieces are one of a kind pieces. Today I’m going to share pieces, that were commission poured for my several years back by Skully. I’m not sure if Skully is still pouring or not, I don’t really use Instagram which all the silver pourers moved to from YouTube. I’m sure someone reading this will know more about that.

Here are a few of the pieces….

That Tie Fighter and X Wing are nice looking. I wouldn't have expected that much detail on them. Very nice!

Hopefully it didn't hurt your yearly author steak

You know… I did see this post over the weekend. Is it the one you lost? Hive must have been sh*tting itself.

No I just slapped one together because the one I wrote shit the bed.

I've really got to start building a Star Wars collection! Awesome silver!

I’m glad that I did it when I did. It would cost a fortune now.

Fantastic hand pours, @silverd510 !

People who play such games find these things very special and the silver things that happen to me are very appealing to me.

Happy 4th! The poured stuff is excellent. The Grogu coin is pretty sweet too.

May the 4th be with ya web 3 style baby 🤣

Sure goes with the rest of your Star Wars theme collection.
