Summer here in the Philippines has officially begun. It is expected that from March until May, the Philippines be experiencing an extreme heat index due to the summer time.
The best way to feel the summer heat is to go the beach, get tanned, feel the summer vibes and enjoy the waves. I really love to soak into seawater most especially the weather tends to be really hot.
We decided to go swimming at Marigondon Beach which is located in Marigondon, Lapu-lapu City.
We did not paid for any cottage fees nor entrance fees since we only set up our things in the sand. Whenever we go to the beach, we love to sit by the sand and lay our things down. What a therapeutic thing to do indeed.
Say hello to our best friend, our furbaby, Uno. As much as possible, we bring our dog, Uno with us in most of the places that we travel to. He loves to be with us and we also love the company. It is extra fun to have furbabies in places like the beach. Uno loves to go swimming also.
When we arrived, we sat and rest for a few minutes since we felt hot from our travel. We settled our things and got ready for a swim.
Look at that pristine water of Maribago Beach. It was a good thing that it is high tide when we came here because the water is simply so clear and clean. Best spot for swimming indeed.
Uno then jumped into the water also. He had so much fun swimming and he always does. This is not his first time to be here, I already posted a separate blog where we went overnight swimming with friends here and we brought our dog Uno with us.
As much as we could, we really do our best to bring our dog wherever we go because we don't want him to be home alone, but if he is, one thing is for sure, he is locked up inside our room while the air condition is on.
Summer is stressful because of the heat index that tends to be too extreme especially herein the Philippines where the heat index sometimes reaches 40 degrees celxius, but if you find ways to enjoy and relax, like going to the beach, have fun with family and friends, it is the best stress-reliever also. Some better ways to enjoy summer.
My son is also a dog-lover and he loves Uno so much. They have such an unbreakable bond since the day they met.

It was such a fun time and not only us had so much fun but our dog as well, for sure. He loved to follow everywhere Jacob went.
My son only visits us here in the city every once in a while, so we make sure he gets to have fun during his stay. He is a beach lover like me and he loves to swim whenever he can.
For our lunch by the beach, we brought our rice and we bought a whole roasted chicken. It was a simple yet happy lunch. Eating foods by the beach is simply the best way to do it.
Luckily, there were floating cottages we can freely sit upon. It was such a hot afternoon and nothing compares to being soaked in the seawater while getting some shed. The feeling of getting hot and cold all at the same time.
Summer time is just simply so fun when you have loads of activities prepared so that you will not get bored. For children, it is also important that they get to do fun physical activities rather than just staying at home and playing with one’s phones.

My gosh, I love that you also included Uno in this fun adventure. And nakakatuwa coz no one stops Uno from swimming in there. May iba kasi apaka selan. Ang saya lang, everyone is happy so is Uno. Happy doggo with his happy fam.
