Why do you always talk in your sleep bro?
I directed this question to my friend who sometimes goes into the dream world and discusses with only God knows who. He always mumble words at night while he is asleep, I will just wake up and tap him and that will be the end of it for that night.
“Guy please stop lying I don't talk while I am asleep so please stop tye body shaming”
Joe replied in an aggressive tone, but I won't lie against you, you always talk while you are asleep.
What do I always say in my sleep? He asked further but I couldn't say a word because I always tap him in an unconscious state.
so I have never taken out time to get his words during sleep.
So I took my time to observe when he will do that again so I could grab what he will say just to proof that particular act but then I waited like for ever, I observed him for complete 1 week but all my observations seem to be in vain as there was nothing to hold on to since he decided to have a quiet and peaceful sleep.
I was wondering if I was the one not ok, how does he manage to change after the argument? All these questions ran through my head with no one to give response to it.
So I decided to throw that thought behind me so I could focus on what Life presents instead of chasing some silly arguments trying to prove a point.
A month passed without that act.
Then on a fateful night it came again and this time I was able to pick some of the words he spoke.
That night out of excitement I jotted them down.
It was all about love, more like a young man trying to get the attention of a lady he said all sorts of romantic things in his sleep.
I wonder who that girl could be.
Has he been seeing a lady and I don't know?
That I couldn't tell since he has never mentioned anything like that to me despite our closeness but then again he is the shy type who only crushes on ladies and never has the balls to approach any of them.
The next day I tried to tell him how he acted by speaking alone in his sleep but again he declined because there was no concrete evidence. so, again I allowed it to slide away and waited for another scenario where I could keep good evidence to show to him.
Two days after that day his voice woke me up as this time he was pleading for someone to Love him.
That night he slept on the couch, his pleading was so emotional that it can make anyone Love him without a second thought.
I couldn't believe this guy is madly in love so, I picked up my phone and recorded a video of him saved and slept happily.
The following morning I asked if he was in Love but he denied I didn't say a word to him. We all prepared and left the house for our various activities then I sent a video of himself to him while he was asleep.
Please don't make this public. He begged so I agreed on one condition and that is that he tells me the name of the girl he is falling in love with.
“Amina,” he responded coldly, he had no option as he knew what I was capable of doing, since he wants his little secret to still be a secret.
Amina was our neighbor then. I approached her and did the work for him. It was made easy as Amina also loved him but would rather talk in her sleep than approach him just like Joe.
Since you both love each other why not work things out between you both rather than chasing the shadows.
I said to Joe when you need something you go after it don't discuss it alone while sleeping. Going for it will help get it off your mind and that will help you not be talking while sleeping.
The bond became even more stronger than mine who is always bold to situations like this.
The abundance in his heart made his mouth speak of it even while sleeping. It's a good thing you were able to help solve his biggest problem, else he would have remained on his bed talking about it every night
