Current Situation in Cent's Liquidity Pools (May 2024)

in Cent19 days ago

Hello dear Cent Community. It's been 24 days since we announced the Cent/Bee liquidity pool. The liquidity value in the pool exceeded $365. It was time to publish a new liquidity pools report. In the future, we aim to publish a liquidity pools report in the middle of every month. We will also evaluate the last month's changes in each report. There are five liquidity pools. These pools have $5,400 worth of liquidity. Let's talk about the current situation in the pools.

  • There is 10786 Hive worth of liquidity in the Hive/Cent liquidity pool. A transaction volume of $8400 was realized in the last month. The current APR on the pool is 96%.
  • There is 2678 Hive worth of liquidity in the HBD/Cent liquidity pool. A transaction volume of $2210 was realized in the last month. Current APR on the pool is 95%.
  • There is 1212 Hive worth of liquidity in the Cent/Bee liquidity pool. The last month's trading volume value is $341. The current APR on the pool is 72%.
  • There is 2071 Hive worth of liquidity in the Cent/Leo liquidity pool. A transaction volume of $1030 was realized in the last month. The current APR on the pool is 84%.
  • There is 1137 Hive worth of liquidity in the Cent/Pob liquidity pool. A transaction volume of $635 was realized in the last month. The current APR on the pool is 100%.

The reward distribution period in the HBD/Cent liquidity pool ends in approximately one week. When this period is completed, we will start a new reward distribution period. We were previously adding some of the revenues we earned from Hive-Engine Transactions to the Hive/CentG liquidity pool. Once this token is liquidated, we will begin adding rewards to the HBD/Cent liquidity pool. Therefore, there will be more APR in this pool than there should be.

Additionally, one of the criticisms about the Cent Project was that "the APR rate in Cent pools is higher than the average of other Hive-Engine pools." The liquidity we expect is greater than the current liquidity. As we reach our target liquidity amount, the APR on Cent pools will automatically drop to the average APR rate in Hive-engine. LEO Power Up Day - May 15, 2024

I haven't been doing much with my POB and CENT earnings. So I'll gladly put whatever I earn into the POB/CENT pool when it comes to it.

We wish you luck. More rewards will be added to that pool. The amount of liquidity remained low compared to other pools.

Thank you for the updates.

We thank you for your interest.

. . . one of the criticisms about the Cent Project was that "the APR rate in Cent pools is higher than the average of other Hive-Engine pools."

Is it because the critics think that such a high APR is unsustainable?

Yes. Similar reasons. However, this point is missed; The amount of liquidity we expect, especially in Hive and HBD pools, is many times higher than the current situation. Hive-engine has not received much attention in the last few years. The interest rate in the HBD Savings section also has a big impact on this. As a result, we will maintain our current APR strategy until we get close to our target liquidity amount.
