What do you think the difference between those two users is? You again seem to look at it just from a content basis even though I've mentioned many times that content isn't everything and reputation isn't about the number next to your username.
Curation has lost quite a bit of its meaning over the years, many align it with just the meaning of upvotes and they're far from perfect or even good. That's also one of the reasons I created this post so some people may find out what I personally deem curation worthy both as content and as users. Of course I can't be everywhere all the time but I do have a lot of people supporting me with my ideals and vision of manual curation through my projects.
I'm not really going to go into everything that has changed since the hardfork with someone who seems to have a very limited overview of things going on here.
