Soothing dinner of fish soup and yam rice

It could be the weather or I could have caught a virus but last night feels like I'm gonna get sick. So, a good remedy to that is to eat food that will make feel better and feel hydrated as well. I went to the Golden Mile food center to have the fish soup with yam rice.

This is the kind of food that helps a lot in easing the fever or common flu and it also tastes good. It's an enjoyable way of getting better and being healthy as well. The stall is located at the lowest level of the food center. It's close to the stairs on the side of Beach Road, with a blue banner with yellow frame, the name is Golden Mile Fish Porridge & Seafood Soup.

I heard the porridge is good but I'm here for the soup with rice so I ordered item #5 on the menu.

I'm supposed to order the white rice but the only available rice is the Yam rice so I might as well give it a try.

I seldom change my preference when it comes to rice but I'm glad that I tried a different type today. I think it's tasty and flavorsome.

The sliced fish soup has a good soup and a generous serving of fish meat.

The Yam rice fits well with the soup because it adds a good flavor to the subtle taste of the soup. The yam also adds a natural sweetness to the dish which I like.

This hawker stall will be on my list of the best food to have in the Bugis area. I will come back soon!

My journey to the world of food.
