CYCLING IS FUN: Teaching My Friend "HOW TO RIDE A BIKE" With Jewel!...

in Cycling13 days ago

Hello my friends from all around the world, I bring you special and warm, heartfelt greetings to you all, my name is Samuel Micheal Atara @eminentsam48, from Nigeria, I love this community and for a fact cycling is my hobby, I love it when I'm riding fast stretching my legs, flexing my muscles and keeping fit by cycling

In this part of the world were cycling is not really that popular just like in the Asian world and countries like Japan, Tokyo, china, and western world like the U.S, England, France, etc. Yet I find it fascinating riding it.

I actually bought my second bike this one

last month and I dimp it really necessary to purchase it so I would ease with paying the bus fare everyday going to work and returning, plus the high cost of Fare was now on the increase, but recently I've observed that the number of people now riding bike in my locality has increased, it's like all of a sudden everybody now realise the importance of owning a bicycle 😂... It's amazing, cause before now you would only find few people riding bicycles.

When my friend came around I opted to teach her how to ride the bicycle, all tho here you rarely find ladies riding 🚲 bike, it's almost like a masculine stuff, I have seen just few ladies rise the bicycle, ..
Having to teach her how to ride was difficult at first cause my bike "Jewel" product of APOLLO is a mountain bike and because of that it's high, the frames tires are very solid so it's not like one of those small or ladies king of bike that would be easy to ride for first time learners

So I had to hold the bike firmly while she seats, told her how to place her legs firmly on the pedal and try to drive by pressing on it, I had to push and hold slowly, she tried but was looking down at her foot.. That was wrong, you look up towards your direction and control the bike to were you want to Turn to.. I told her"

Here, this space is my compound were I live, it's spacious, so we used that at first to try, driving in circles, while I guide her, when I was sure she could handle the wheel we had to use our streets to practice some more

I observed she could control the wheel and was now circling but gaining balance was now her major challenge, so I simply had to put my hand behind the seat just support her lightly while she drives and control

...haaa!!.... We had to stop at this point I was exhausted, testy and tired.. We will try again another, but it was worth the time and energy.....got something refreshing to drink while we catch our breath.

Thanks all in @cycling community it was a pleasure sharing my experience with you all

Gracias amigos

Yah she was.... At first she was scared about it, saying she would fall, I convinced her I would guide her,... Later it was her who didn't want to stop.....😂
