Government social assistance for underprivileged communities

Hi all...

Today I want to share a little story about humanitarian aid for underprivileged communities, this assistance is very special for those who deserve it.

To be precise, the North Aceh city government issued a budget for the construction of a house that is livable, measuring 6x12 meters. This budget has been long awaited by the local community, the house they live in is no longer possible for them to live there. Therefore, the government looks at the villages that are most deserving of it, gradually they will get it.

This is good news for them, they can return to a decent house to live in.

In this construction project, I was assigned to oversee the house project, about 15 houses which received new housing construction. I was also touched when I saw their house that was no longer suitable for habitation, I thought this would make them happy. I talked to them the owners of the house, it seemed from their faces that they were very happy to hear the news.

When the work was started by the house contractor, they were a bit confused about where to live for some time in the future, among them there were those who had close relatives and some who had no other place to live there. They begged to be able to live in their previous house, meaning they lived next to the house which was only made for a short time. I see them very sad about this, but they still look very happy about life. This may be a valuable lesson for me to be grateful for what I have today.

The work was carried out smoothly, I supervised between one house and another, because different houses had different contractors.

Below are the results of some of my portraits, seen from the initial stages to completion.

The construction of this house takes one month, after which they can return to their original place and have a new house. You can see in the picture as they try to enter for their new home.

Thank you to the North Aceh city government for providing or releasing this social budget to people in need, this is the most noble work.
