Naufragio
De tus ojos, dos estrellas van guiando
el rumbo incierto de mi alma sin vela,
barco insensato que desencarcela
vientos, que no tienen dónde ni cuándo.
Cual suave esponja es mi corazón blando
que cede al verbo de tus triquiñuelas
y en vuelo raudo ante ti se eleva
dando por real, tu amor de contrabando.
Es tu mirada, cual oración pérfida,
mostrando los caminos de El Dorado,
y, por lo tanto, a una muerte cálida.
Así voy a un naufragio prenunciado,
bogando hacia la irremediable pérdida
de un corazón insensibilizado.
Shipwreck
From your eyes, two stars are guiding
the uncertain course of my sail-less soul,
a foolish ship that unleashes
winds that have no where or when.
Like a soft sponge is my tender heart
that yields to the verb of your tricks,
and swiftly soars before you,
believing in your love smuggled in.
Your gaze is like a treacherous prayer,
showing the paths to El Dorado,
and, therefore, to a warm death.
Thus, I go towards a foretold shipwreck,
rowing towards the irreparable loss
of a desensitized heart.
