We will witness all the atrocities of that time, in times of war, and the healing power of literature. I feel that something that makes this novel very interesting is the author's way of approaching the present themes... they are dark themes, but he shows them to us with an incredible narrative and beauty. Death, who in this occasion acts as an omniscient narrator, is the one who guides us through the story... with a compassionate voice, but at the same time philosophical. It offers us a very deep perspective on what the human condition is, and the havoc that evil can wreak.

Hola a todos! Espero se encuentren increíblemente bien el día de hoy, querida comunidad lectora! Hoy les quiero compartir una nueva reseña. Esta vez de la novela: La Ladrona de Libros. Esta novela la leí hace algún tiempo, y me pareció muy interesante. Es una obra que considero realmente conmovedora, y humana.. esta ambientada en al Alemania nazi durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.. Y vemos todo este contexto a través de los ojos de Liesel, una niña huérfana, que se enamora mucho de los libros..Seremos testigos de todas las atrocidades de esa época, en tiempos de guerra, y del poder sanador que tiene la literatura. Siento que algo que hace a esta novela muy interesante, es la forma del autor de abordar los temas presentes.. son temas oscuros, pero nos lo muestra con una narrativa y belleza increíbles. La muerte, que en esta ocasión actúa como una narradora omnisciente, es la que nos guiara a través de a historia.. con una voz compasiva, pero a la vez filosófica. Nos ofrece una perspectiva muy profunda sobre lo que es la condición humana, y los estragos que la maldad puede hacer.
The characters here are very well constructed, each with their own internal struggles... and complicated nuances. The protagonist is a very brave and resilient girl...she finds solace most of the time in books, and in her friendship with Rudy, a very energetic boy, but also very close to her. Hans and Rosa Hubermann, Liesel's adoptive parents, are also complex characters...they have a real heart of gold, underneath all that outward façade they have, which can be rough.
But most likely the most interesting and impactful character is Max, a Jewish man who is a refugee, who had to hide in the Hubermann's basement, his presence starts the story moving...and brings tension to the plot. The relationship he has with Liesel is a beautiful one... No doubt you, as readers, will connect with these two quite a bit.

Los personajes de aquí, están muy bien construidos, cada uno tiene sus propias luchas internas.. y sus complicados matices. La protagonista es una niña muy valiente y resistente.. ella encuentra la mayor parte del tiempo un consuelo en los libros, y en su amistad con Rudy, un chico muy enérgico, pero también muy cercano a ella. Hans y Rosa Hubermann, los padres adoptivos de Liesel, también son personajes complejos.. tienen un verdadero corazón de oro, debajo de toda esa fachada exterior que tienen, que puede ser áspera.Pero es muy probable que el personaje más interesante e impactante sea Max, un hombre judío que es un refugiado, que tuvo que esconderse en el sótano de los Hubermann, su presencia hace que la historia se empiece a mover.. y trae a la trama tensión. La relación que este tiene con Liesel, es una muy hermosa.. Sin duda ustedes como lectores, lograran conectar bastante con estos dos.
The author of this novel has a truly extraordinary ability to capture the essence of childhood, innocence, and curiosity in the midst of a dark atmosphere like one of the worst wars that ever existed. His prose is poetic, it transports you to a world where books are a true treasure... and friendship, along with literature, are things that can save your life. Despite its setting, “The Book Thief” is full of hope and that touch of humanity, reminding us that even in the ugliest of times, there is room for beauty, love, friendship and of course courage.
It is a strong reminder of how powerful literature can be...and how books can be a source of comfort and strength in the most difficult times we may be going through. I considered it an incredible work, this story captivates you from the moment you start reading it, it leaves you with a deep sense of gratitude for life, for how lucky we are to not live in a troubled time.. and for all those little moments of beauty to seize and enjoy.
It is a reading that I enjoyed very much, and that I remember with much affection. I give it a well-deserved rating of 5/5. I highly recommend it to all of you, I'm sure you will be moved by this incredible story. take care, see you in the next review!

El autor de esta novela, tiene una habilidad realmente extraordinaria para capturar toda esa esencia de la infancia, la inocencia, y la curiosidad.. en medio de una atmosfera oscura como lo es una de las peores guerras que han existido. Su prosa es poética, te transporta a un mundo donde los libros son un verdadero tesoro.. y la amistad, junto con la literatura, son cosas que te pueden salvar la vida. A pesar de su ambientación, “La Ladrona de Libros” está llena de esperanza y ese toque de humanidad, nos recuerda que incluso en los momentos más feos, hay lugar para la belleza, el amor, la amistad y por supuesto la valentía.Es un fuerte recordatorio de lo poderosa que puede ser la literatura.. y de como los libros pueden ser una fuente de consuelo y fuerza en los momentos más difíciles que podamos estar atravesando. La consideró una obra increíble, esta historia te cautiva desde que comienzas a leerla, te deja con un profundo sentimiento de gratitud por la vida, por la suerte que tenemos en no vivir en una época conflictiva.. y en todos esos pequeños momentos de belleza que hay que aprovechar y disfrutar.
Es una lectura que disfrute mucho, y que recuerdo con mucho cariño. Le doy una merecida calificación de 5/5. La recomiendo ampliamente a todos ustedes, seguro se sentirán conmovidos por esta increíble historia. ¡Cuídense, nos veremos en la próxima reseña!

No he tenido la oportunidad de leer esta historia, pero definitivamente y gracias a tu reseña quiero hacerlo. Creo que las obras que se desarrollan en un contexto como la guerra son profundamente ricas en muchos sentidos. He leído el Diario de Anna Frank y por eso mi conclusión al respecto.
Sin duda voy a tratar de buscar este libro y leerlo. Gracias por la recomendación.
