With this post I am participating in the #Hive-collectors May initiative, when I saw that @mipiano showed his post notifying that it would be the theme of the month The collection of stuffed animals dolls. I was quite happy because I have to show some of my own, by the way very few, but most of them more than 30 are from my daughter. Having stuffed animals is very pleasing, especially in childhood, in it we seek to have at our side, the favorite doll is like having a friend, always hugging him in our room and in our bed.
We will describe each stuffed animal and its history
Many times people get tired of it and give them away, I have several that I have adopted, my sister did not want them anymore and gave them to me and as my daughter was small I was delighted to receive them.
There were two that were backpacks, I removed the straps and stuffed them well and sewed where the zippers are and some breakage. Also a cute bunny.
This is a keepsake from a christening party for my niece, this cute little bunny, it is over 30 years old.
I bought them several times on February 14th and gave them to my husband as a gift. From there they have decorated the flower arrangement basket every year on that date.
This little doll was my daughter's first stuffed animal at the age of two.
These are the Christmas stuffed animals, the bear has music and lights. It is very well preserved because my children took good care of it, they only pressed the button to hear the music. And a Dalmatian dog because it reminds us of two dogs of this breed that we had, Jackal and Freckles.
This bear was bought by my daughter with savings in her teenage years, she was in high school.
When I told my daughter that she should lend me her stuffed animals to participate, she told me: “How and that these are expenses that I should not make, the thing is that she has decided to buy one every time she gets paid, so sometimes I have criticized her. Then she went to her closet with a flashlight, took out a bag where they are stored, that night we had a power outage; however, that did not prevent us from placing it in a piece of furniture in the living room, then we passed these photos with flash. So that the next day he did the photo session one by one.
One time he came in with this lobster. It was on sale and she decided to buy it. She named it Larry after the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon.
Then with this trio: the chimpanzee, the avocado and the elephant. My daughter goes to the store every day and sees the full prices, and when they have a sale and it coincides with payday she buys it and arrives very happy with her stuffed animals.
Winnie Pooh and two backpacks.
Winnie Pooh could not be missing in this collection, this adorable stuffed animal is one of the favorites of every child and of course she is a fan and always when she was a child she drew him until she bought them.
Winnie Pooh is a fictional character. Created by Alan Alexander Milne. He is an anthropomorphic teddy bear protagonist of several children's books.
The dog series.
In this picture is my favorite Snoopy, when I was young I had several T-shirts with his figure and Christmas cards were with this character. Snoopy is Charles Brown's faithful mascot, his loyalty is the most outstanding feature in the Peanuts comic strip.
Pandas bears.
Who doesn't melt at the sight of these pandas, so cute that my daughter couldn't resist buying them.
Stitch :
This plush toy was bought because of the Walt Disney movie, as he liked it very much. Stitch is an experiment created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba to cause chaos in the galaxy, then he flees in a ship and arrives to the Hawaiian Islands and Lilo adopts him as a naughty, loving, loyal pet. Giving this doll as a gift means loyalty and unconditional love to the one who gives it as a gift.
Eevee
This is a pokemon created by Japanese Ken Sugimon. It is developed by Game Freak and Nitendo in 1996 (video games). Eevee is a fox with a dog breed pomeranian, in the game it mutates up to 8 evolutions. It is characterized by its tenderness. My son played Pokémon as a teenager.
Collection of the smallest stuffed animals.
Here is the coyote from the roadrunner comic series developed by Looney Tunes. Because of his hunger he always sets traps to catch the roadrunner and at the moment when he thinks he fell he hears the beep, beep then he goes and he falls into his own trap. I used to watch this cartoon every day after doing my homework and it made me remember happy times.
My stuffed animals.
These are my stuffed animals, only five, in my childhood there was not so much variety, besides when I was working I could not buy them, I had other priorities. I only bought the ones for Christmas and Valentine's Day. The others I adopted.
The turtle and Tigger.
The last ones, the lady turtle 🐢, measures: 60 x 40 cm and Tigger 🐯 gifts by friends. She dreamed of this turtle 🐢 when she saw it in the store she even passed some pictures, but it was too expensive. Until a friend took advantage of a sale and gave her the surprise as a Christmas gift. And Tigger 🐯 she got it as a gift this year on her birthday.
The next day, after the photo session, I moved all the stuffed animals from the living room to her room and put them on her bed. So that she could put them back in the bag and leave out whatever she wanted, she had left for college very early in the morning.
I hope my friends from #Hive-collectors liked this parade of stuffed animals, my daughter wants to increase this collection gradually, because when she was a child she didn't have the opportunity to have them. So far, she is 31. I am barely 05 ha, ha, ha, ha. In my time, they did not sell this variety of stuffed animals.
