Pangkor Laut is a small island and we didn't expect to see so many wild animals. Of course, we can't be too surprised since the whole island is basically jungle, but still.
There were monkeys, wild boar, snakes, giant fruit bats, ants :), hornbill birds, eagles, giant monitor lizards. Wow, who needs to go on a safari when you have all this wild life right outside your bungalow.
We also hiked a jungle trail but only came across a (scared) wild boar. Pangkor Laut Island is a true paradise, adventure and luxury island.
Those hornbills are awesome! I could never got that close to them... maybe next time I visit Malaysia, definitely putting that island on the to-see list!
They come super close, especially to your table when it's breakfast time :)
I would probably fill my camera's memory card only with them 😁
