From caravan to Mobile home

I guess I should have started this blog early this year when we travelled by caravan to Spain 🇪🇸 from Finland. 

It was quite an experience, from the boat trip from Helsinki to Lubeck when the temperature was -27 to someone breaking into our caravan at 3am in France while we were sleeping. Also, our car has a few issues which were resolved. 

One issue regarding personal relationships on the road. Before we started our journey my wife and I were working and so met each other like most married couples do.

Nevertheless, I didn't and that is my loss.

However, one thing we learnt from the 4 months experience was that we enjoy travelling and not so much camping. 

From that realisation we decided to get a motor home. The main reason is we can stop when and where we want. Something we cannot do with a caravan. 

So, what will this blog offer of value for the reader. 

1. The ups and downs of travelling around Europe and solutions needed.
2. The main countries we will be discussing will be Europe 🇪🇺 in general but concentrating on Finland, Spain and Sweden. 
3. Technical issues on the road such as the internet, using camping apps, using Google maps and cost saving ideas.
4. Security while on the road. Mainly, regarding wild camping. 
5. Of course, reviews of some great places to stay while travelling around Europe as well as places not worth going. 

We will be starting in Finland 🇫🇮 and maybe Sweden until October 2024 when we will be travelling back to Spain. So,  Germany,  France,  Italy and Portugal will be discovered.
