Los emprendedores no tenemos horario laboral fijo (al igual que los bloggeros de Hive 😅) y si uno quiere que le salgan bien las cosas, en ocasiones toca hacer pequeños sacrificios.
Se los digo porque actualmente estamos organizando nuestro tercer evento de Convinarte, y en esta edición estaremos haciéndolo nuevamente en el centro comercial Costa Mall.
En mi ciudad no hay muchos dÃas de gran movimiento de masas, por lo que los dÃas feriados son los ideales para hacer cualquier cosita para la venta y también para difundir mensajes.
Es por eso que se me ocurrió aprovechar el dÃa de las madres para repartir panfletos sobre nuestro próximo evento, pues a final de cuentas el público objetivo para este son mujeres mayores que sean amantes de las plantas. Ya luego les doy más detalles del evento.
El hacer esto representaba sacrificar parte de mi dÃa especial, porque también soy madre, pero estaba dispuesta a hacerlo por el bien del evento.
Asà que luego de comer algo sencillo en el almuerzo salà al centro comercial.

Entrepreneurs don't have fixed working hours (just like Hive bloggers 😅) and if you want things to go well, sometimes you have to make small sacrifices.
I'm telling you this because we are currently organizing our third Convinarte event, and in this edition we will be doing it again at the Costa Mall.
In my city there are not many days of great mass movement, so holidays are the ideal days to make any little thing for sale and also to spread messages.
That's why I decided to take advantage of Mother's Day to hand out flyers about our next event, because after all, the target audience for this event is older women who are plant lovers. I'll tell you more about the event later.
Doing this meant sacrificing part of my special day, because I am also a mother, but I was willing to do it for the sake of the event.
So after eating something simple for lunch I went out to the mall.
Antes de tomar el transporte, pasé buscando las impresiones que Ãbamos a repartir, asà como también las cartas de solicitud de patrocinio para el evento.
El calor era enorme, a pesar de que estaba algo nublado. Llegué y ya Elieska me estaba esperando en la feria de comida.
Before taking the shuttle, I passed by looking for the prints we were going to hand out, as well as the sponsorship request letters for the event.
It was extremely hot, even though it was a bit cloudy. I arrived and Elieska was already waiting for me at the food fair.
Nos pusimos rápidamente a recortar todo, firmar las cartas y nos pusimos manos a la obra. El tiempo era limitado ya que me querÃa ir a casa pronto para poder hacer la parrillada junto a mi esposo y mi hijo y Elieska tenÃa una fiesta con su mamá y sus familiares.
El lugar estaba repleto de personas, por lo que resultó sencillo repartir los pequeños panfletos.
We quickly cut everything out, signed the letters and got down to business. Time was limited as I wanted to go home early so I could barbecue with my husband and son and Elieska had a party with her mom and family.
The place was packed with people, so it was easy to hand out the little flyers.
En la feria de comida tenÃan un pequeño escenario, ya que por ser el dÃa de la madre tenÃan varias actividades planificadas.
They had a small stage at the food fair, as they had several activities planned for Mother's Day.
Hicimos una breve caminata en busca de personas y negocios para entregar las cartas. En eso nos encontramos con un pequeño puesto de barquillas de Mcdonald's.
Vi que habÃan barquillas a 1$, asà que no dudé en comprarme una para disfrutar mi estadÃa en el centro comercial un poco más.
Rara vez compro algo para disfrutarlo sola porque siempre procuro llevar parte a mi esposo y a mi hijo, pero esto no habÃa forma de guardarlo. Asà que me lo comà tranquila.
We took a short walk in search of people and businesses to deliver the letters. At that point we came across a small Mcdonald's snack stand.
I saw that there were $1 bars, so I didn't hesitate to buy one to enjoy my stay at the mall a little longer.
I rarely buy anything to enjoy alone because I always try to bring some for my husband and son, but this was no way to keep it. So I ate it quietly.
Luego de eso Elieska se tuvo que ir y yo quedé con algunos panfletos por repartir, pero en cuestión de minutos ya no me quedaba ni uno.
After that Elieska had to leave and I was left with some leaflets to hand out, but in a matter of minutes I didn't have a single one left.
Luego me fui a la tienda Total a comprar unas bebidas para disfrutar con mi esposo. También hice un pequeño recorrido a ver que otra cosa podrÃa comprar.
Then I went to the Total store to buy some drinks to enjoy with my husband. I also did a little shopping to see what else I could buy.
Luego me fui a caja y pagué las dos bebidas que hicieron un poco más de 4$.
Ya estaba lista para volver a casa.
I then went to the cashier and paid for the two drinks which made a little over $4.00.
I was ready to go home.
De camino a casa vi a muchas personas disfrutando, mayormente señoras de la tercera edad. Se tomaban fotos en los stand que habÃa preparado el centro comercial o se les veÃa disfrutando de un helado.
Finalmente tomé el transporte. Estaba bien contenta porque cumplà los objetivos y además iba a disfrutar un momento lindo con mi familia. ♥
On my way home I saw many people enjoying themselves, mostly elderly ladies. They were taking pictures at the booths that the mall had set up or enjoying an ice cream.
Finally I took the shuttle. I was very happy because I met my goals and I was going to enjoy a nice moment with my family. ♥
