Hoy, como cada lunes, mientras Miranda estaba en la orquesta, yo me fui a esperar en el Centro de Artes Omar Carreño. Este lugar me encanta, porque aparte de hermoso, y contar con un aire acondicionado súper rico, es un lugar que a mí me transmite mucha paz, y aunque a veces puede haber mucho movimiento, ya que dan clases de ballet, pintura, música, y otras actividades culturales, escuchar los instrumentos y a los niños ensayar, es algo que disfruto un montón.
Generalmente, llevo alguna película o serie descargada en el celular para que el tiempo de espera sea más llevadero, pero en cuanto llego, lo primero que hago es dar un vistazo a la sala de exposiciones por si hay algo nuevo, y hoy me encontré con la sala repleta, de hecho nunca la había visto así, y eso me emocionó demasiado, y por supuesto bajé de inmediato.
La exposición fue armada para celebrar el día del Artista Plástico, por lo que había muchísimas piezas y de las más variadas expresiones artísticas. Podías ver pinturas con diferentes técnicas y en diferentes superficies, esculturas en metal y mixtas, ya que algunas incluían acrílico, había trabajos en piedra, desde tallado, hasta pintadas, incluso un jean "intervenido" que me pareció hermoso y súper creativo, así como piezas de arte digital y fotografía, en fin, de todo un poco.
Entre las piezas que más me gustaron están un cuadro abstracto súper colorido, una pieza de madera tallada con la figura de una mujer, que es simplemente asombrosa, una pintura en óleo de Puerto Abajo, playa que me recibió de niña muchísimas veces en mis vacaciones en la isla, y una pieza de arte digital que de verdad amé y que si pudiera la llevara a casa porque es simplemente hermosa.
Pero de todas, hubo una que me dejó cautivada por un buen rato, y fue una cascada de muchísimos peces elaborados con la técnica del origami, con billetes ya descontinuados, que caían desde el techo del teatro y que sin dudas es prueba de la creatividad del ser humano. La verdad, amé esta exposición y me distraje tanto, que sin darme cuenta llegó demasiado rápido la hora de buscar a mi muñeca y me quedaron algunas piezas por ver, pero por suerte debo ir nuevamente y podré disfrutar con más calma esta belleza de exposición que cuenta con obras de más de 58 artistas.

Today, like every Monday, while Miranda was at the orchestra, I went to wait at the Centro de Artes Omar Carreño. I love this place, because besides being beautiful, and having a super rich air conditioning, it is a place that transmits me a lot of peace, and although sometimes there can be a lot of movement, since they teach ballet, painting, music, and other cultural activities, listening to the instruments and the children rehearsing, is something that I enjoy a lot.
I usually take a movie or series downloaded on my cell phone to make the waiting time more bearable, but as soon as I arrive, the first thing I do is to take a look at the exhibition hall in case there is something new, and today I found the hall full, in fact I had never seen it like that, and that made me very excited, and of course I went down immediately.
The exhibition was set up to celebrate the Plastic Artist's Day, so there were many pieces of the most varied artistic expressions. You could see paintings with different techniques and on different surfaces, sculptures in metal and mixed, as some included acrylic, there were works in stone, from carved, to painted, even a "intervened " jean that I found beautiful and super creative, as well as pieces of digital art and photography, in short, a little bit of everything.
Among the pieces that I liked the most were a super colorful abstract painting, a wooden piece carved with the figure of a woman, which is simply amazing, an oil painting of Puerto Abajo, a beach that received me as a child many times on my vacations on the island, and a piece of digital art that I really loved and if I could I would take it home because it is simply beautiful.
But of all of them, there was one that left me captivated for a long time, and it was a cascade of many fishes made with the origami technique, with bills already discontinued, falling from the ceiling of the theater and that undoubtedly is proof of the creativity of human beings. The truth is that I loved this exhibition and I was so distracted that without realizing it, the time to look for my doll came too quickly and I had some pieces left to see, but luckily I must go again and I will be able to enjoy this beautiful exhibition with more than 58 artists.
