It is my pleasure to be part of the hive community, and I am grateful for the opportunity. I would like to introduce myself and share some background information about my life.
My name is @Ace26, and I am 30 years old. I am the eldest of five children in my family.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from a university in Manila. Currently, I work as a Sales Assistant in a well-known hardware store in Cebu, where I have been employed for almost seven years.
My father passed away last October 2022, and my mother lives in Manila.
Since my parents were working in Manila when I was born, I was raised by my grandparents in Cebu. They provided me with financial support for my daily needs and education.
You might be wondering why I graduated from Manila if I grew up in Cebu. After completing elementary school, my mother took me to Manila to continue my studies.
My mother is from Cebuano, and my father is from Bulacan. I have an eight-year-old son, a one-year-old daughter, and a loving live-in partner. I used to live in Manila, but we moved to Cebu in 2017 for personal reasons.
As a child, I enjoyed playing basketball and still do to this day. I often play with my friends and co-workers, and sometimes we play late at night due to our work schedules. Additionally, I like to play online games like Mobile Legends with my cousin. It's a great way for us to bond and spend time together.
I used to have several Koi fish, but unfortunately, some of them died. One of our dogs accidentally got tangled in the filter that gave the fish oxygen and we didn't notice it right away. It was too late to revive them. Apart from the fish, I also inherited a rooster from my Lolo Aryot I own ten various kinds of roosters, and occasionally one of them will participate in a cockfighting table during our village fiesta. The object of the game is for the rooster to place it on the table; whoever is the first to fall will lose.
My piggery business, which consists of a sow and three piglets that are ready for sale, greatly aids in my financial situation. However, you need to be passionate about this kind of business to succeed in it. I had to get up early because I had work, so I washed and fed the pigs first. My aunt fed them the rest of the day, and I was the one who looked after the mother pig until she gave birth. Owning a poultry business was difficult, but I also enjoyed it.
I am currently living a happy life in Cebu with my family. Let me introduce you to my children. Ace Mico was the one who completely transformed my life; he inspired me to be a good father and, in 2023, My princess Chloe Micole arrived and completed our family; they are both my gems and my treasures, and they are the reason I worked so hard to give them the life they deserved.
In addition, my wife was extremely patient with me and always made sure I learned from my mistakes. He served as both our pillar and our excellent advisor. We both had hope that when our finances and savings stabilise, we will walk down the aisle and experience God's blessing in our marriage. She supported me through nearly 11 years of everything from prosperity to poverty to illness to health.
Just like last year, I accidentally crashed on my motorcycle due to some dogs passing on the streets, so I got a severe injury. At that time, we didn't have enough savings to get me a CT scan, but my wife found ways to ensure that I was okay.
We are a love-at-first-sight couple, from strangers to lovers. In my next blog, I will be posting our love story and how we made it until now.
Life may be full of obstacles, but sometimes it won't be that heavy because of the people around us. If you are ready, be grateful for the people around you because, at the end of the day, they will be there for you no matter what.
The reason why I have joined Hive is not to brag about the digits that I will be receiving soon but to inspire the crowd about the importance of writing, which few only appreciate. My wife is a hive member who has a hive orientation here in Naga, and I was able to witness their discussion, and I found it interesting. So I asked my wife if I could join their hive, and my wife said yes; they said many are called but few are chosen.
Am I one of the few? Yes. I am, maybe because God made a way that I would sit there and find myself listening to their discussion; it was rather God's plan. How blessed I am to have been invited by kind and amazing people, especially my wife, who was gentle and patient to instruct me on what to do, @helianthus-chloe, and maam, @chimgipamus, who assisted me in everything that I should do and don't, even though he was so busy he took time to help me start on the hive, @intoy.bugoy. Thanks to them for inspiring me to take this journey. I will make sure to make a blog that will inspire the readers. I am excited to write another blog, and hopefully, you all will support me on my next blog.
