Continuando con el programa de recuperación del campo deportivo del Liceo Alberto Smith, podemos anunciar la llegada de nuevos insumos y materiales de construcción para avanzar en la reconstrucción y adecuamiento de los espacios deportivos del campo de futbol casa del club "Bravos de América" del populoso sector "la Represa".

A más de un mes de haber comenzado las obras, el avance es más que evidente y lo podemos constatar a través de las fotografías que el Instituto para la Recreación y Deporte de Zamora, IMDERZA ha compartido desde su cuenta de Facebook para todos nosotros.

Continuing with the recovery program of the sports field of the Alberto Smith High School, we can announce the arrival of new supplies and construction materials to advance in the reconstruction and adaptation of the sports facilities of the soccer field of the "Bravos de América" club of the populous sector "La Represa".

More than a month after starting the works, the progress is more than evident and we can see it through the photographs that the Institute for Recreation and Sports of Zamora, IMDERZA has shared on its Facebook account for all of us.

Un Campo modelo para el Municipio Zamora

En Zamora existen en sus distintas parroquias espacios para la práctica del fútbol como disciplina deportiva y entre todos ellos el que más tuvo relevancia deportiva fue el campo hermanos Gersi ubicado en la comunidad de Carrizalito el cual a pesar de los esfuerzos de vecinos y entrenadores deportivos no se ha podido recuperar sino más que para hacer prácticas.

El Campo deportivo del Liceo Alberto Smith estaría en la 2da opción a mi juicio a nivel de importancia para la celebración de actividades deportivas en el centro de la ciudad y es por ello que los coordinadores junto a las autoridades locales están avocados a su rescate y recuperación.

Aunque no se está ampliando para albergar a una mayor cantidad de fanáticos, se están adecuando los espacios para hacer más cómoda la estadía y desarrollo de los eventos que se celebren en dichas instalaciones.

A Model Field for the Municipality of Zamora

In Zamora there are spaces in different parishes for the practice of soccer as a sports discipline and among all of them, the most important one was the Gersi brothers field located in the community of Carrizalito, which despite the efforts of neighbors and sports coaches has not been able to recover but only for practice.

The sports field of the Alberto Smith High School would be the second option in my opinion in terms of importance for the celebration of sports activities in the center of the city and that is why the coordinators together with the local authorities are committed to its rescue and recovery.

Although it is not being expanded to accommodate a larger number of fans, the spaces are being adapted to make the stay and development of the events held in these facilities more comfortable.

Aunque desconocemos el monto o crédito que se ha asignado para la recuperación de estas instalaciones es obvio que al observar el trabajo es una suma importante y que debemos agradecer la diligencia de las organizaciones deportivas a través de la gestión de IMDERZA y de las autoridades municipales en la figura de la profesora Anahís Palacios como la primera autoridad municipal.

La ejecución está a cargo dele quipo de ingeniería municipal en coordinación con las fuerzas vivas de la comunidad de la Represa, donde participan personas con conocimiento de herrería, albañilería, plomería y electricidad respectivamente.

Although we do not know the amount or credit that has been allocated for the recovery of these facilities, it is obvious from observing the work that it is an important sum and that we must thank the diligence of the sports organizations through the management of IMDERZA and the municipal authorities in the figure of Professor Anahís Palacios as the first municipal authority.

The execution is in charge of the municipal engineering team in coordination with the living forces of the community of La Represa, where people with knowledge of blacksmithing, masonry, plumbing and electricity, respectively, are participating.

Eventos, campeonatos y torneos

De los espacios deportivos más importantes que tiene actualmente nuestro municipio el Campo Deportivo del Liceo Albert Smith es indudablemente uno de ellos, la cantidad de torneos, campeonatos y amistosos que se han celebrado en estos espacios se pierde de vista, es por ello que su recuperación es muy importante para el mantenimiento de la actividad deportiva local en relación con el creciente número de clubes que se vienen formando en las distintas parroquias del municipio.

Opinión:

Aplaudimos los esfuerzos que desde IMDERZA y la alcaldía del municipio se realizan para el rescate no solo de esta, sino de varias instalaciones deportivas donde están canchas escolares en las distintas parroquias de nuestra geografía local.

Pensar en el desarrollo deportivo y recreativo de nuestra juventud es a mi juicio invertir en el futuro y la creciente demanda de deportistas locales de alguna manera presiona para que se aceleren las gestiones en la recuperación de dichos espacios que esperemos la localidad sepa cuidar y valorar para que no se pierdan en el tiempo como ha sucedido en variadas ocasiones... Opinion:

We applaud the efforts made by IMDERZA and the mayor's office of the municipality for the rescue not only of this, but of several sports facilities where school courts are located in the different parishes of our local geography.

Thinking about the sports and recreational development of our youth is in my opinion investing in the future and the growing demand of local athletes somehow presses to accelerate the efforts in the recovery of these spaces that hopefully the locality knows how to care and value so that they are not lost in time as has happened on several occasions ...
