In a little over a month it will be a new anniversary since I came to Hive and with it will be four years of writing on this platform. Time went by really fast, and although when I joined I didn't have any clear expectations, the least I could have imagined was how far I would go with this. Already stepping on the four uninterrupted years of sharing my days here is a great thing, and this long period of time made me go through several ways of seeing Hive in my daily routine. But the important thing is that I'm still here and counting 😃.
En un poco más de un mes va a cumplirse un nuevo aniversario desde que llegué a Hive y con él van a ser cuatro años de escribir en esta plataforma. El tiempo pasó muy rápido realmente, y aunque cuando me uní no tenía ninguna expectativa muy clara, lo que menos me hubiese imaginado era lo lejos que llegaría con esto. Ya estar pisando los cuatro años ininterrumpidos de compartir mis días acá es algo genial, y este periodo de tiempo tan largo me hizo pasar por varias formas de ver a Hive en mi rutina diaria. Pero lo importante es que sigo acá y contando 😃.
Like most of us who came here, at the beginning I didn't have a very clear niche to dedicate myself to and I went through several until I found the topics I liked the most. At the beginning, what I liked the most was sewing and sharing them here, but in the last few months I started a digital nomad adventure that has me out of my home and only sharing about the trips I do. This adventure was a big challenge for me because I would test Hive as my main breadwinner and luckily everything has been going well so far 😃.
Como la mayoría de todos los que llegamos acá, al principio no tenía un nicho muy claro al cual dedicarme y fui pasando por varios hasta encontrar los temas que más me gustaban. Al principio, lo que más me gustaba era hacer costuras y compartirlas acá, pero en estos últimos meses emprendí una aventura de nómada digital lo que me tiene fuera de mi casa y solo compartiendo sobre los viajes que hago. Esta aventura fue un gran desafío para mí porque pondría a prueba a Hive como mi principal sostén económico y por suerte todo viene saliendo bien hasta ahora 😃.
Blog writing started as a hobby for me, to keep me distracted in the pandemic while we were all confined to our homes. I never imagined that years later I would be living off the earnings from this blog. Taking the leap of leaving my home and supporting myself with this made me change the way I look at content creation from a hobby to a job. Even before I left home I was already pretty committed to it, but now that it's my main breadwinner I definitely consider it my job. And it's a little weird for me to say that my job is writing, but this is what it is and I like doing it ❤️.
La escritura de un blog empezó como un hobbie para mí, para mantenerme distraída en la pandemia mientras todos estabamos confinados en nuestras casas. Nunca imaginé que años después estaría viviendo de las ganancias de este blog. Haber dado el salto de salir de mi casa y mantenerme solo con esto me hizo cambiar la forma de ver a la creación de contenido desde hobbie a trabajo. Incluso antes de salir de casa ya estaba bastante comprometida con esto, pero ahora que es mi principal sostén definitivamente lo considero mi trabajo. Y me es un poco raro decir que mi trabajo es escribir, pero esto es lo que es y me gusta hacerlo ❤️.
The work of writing on my own monetized site is nothing like what I had in mind for my future a few years earlier. My chosen profession is engineering, but I am not practicing yet as I want to use this time to travel and get to know my country. I have often been asked why I travel so much, and my answer is because I can, because I organize myself well and make it happen. I'm not sad that I'm not working on what I'm supposed to be working on, because what I'm doing now I choose it and it gets me where I want to be 💕.
El trabajo de escribir en mi propia página monetizada no se parece en nada a lo que tenía pensado para mi futuro unos años antes. La profesión que elegí es la ingeniería, pero aún no estoy ejerciendo ya que quiero aprovechar este tiempo para viajar y conocer mi país. Muchas veces me preguntaron para qué viajo tanto, y mi respuesta es porque puedo, porque me organizo bien y hago que suceda. No me apena no estar trabajando de lo que se supone que debería, porque lo que estoy haciendo ahora lo elijo y me lleva a donde quiero estar 💕.
I am very happy that this hobby has turned into a job because not everyone can make a living from what they like to do. Every day I am more and more convinced that persevering and being constant has its fruits because I am living it in first person. I will always be grateful for this opportunity, for all the life experiences it has brought me and for the chance of having found Hive by casually surfing the Internet. If you spoiled me that four years later I would be writing this after six months of traveling in the south of Argentina I wouldn't believe it, but I am proud that it all came together ❤️.
Me alegra mucho que este hobbie se haya transformado en un trabajo porque no todo el mundo puede vivir de lo que le gusta hacer. Cada día me convenzo más de que perseverar y ser constante tiene sus frutos porque lo estoy viviendo en primera persona. Siempre voy a estar agradecida por esta oportunidad, por todas las experiencias de vida que me trajo y por la casualidad de haber encontrado a Hive navegando casualmente en Internet. Si me spoilearan que cuatro años después estaría escribiendo esto después de estar seis meses de viaje en el sur de Argentina no lo creería, pero estoy orgullosa de que así se haya dado todo ❤️.

Without a doubt, not many people can make a living doing what they like, much less get financial support from a hobby.

Este es mi sueño, deseo poder algún decir y escribir lo mismo, voy a cumplir tres años en Hive, y bueno aún no logro generar lo suficiente como para decir que puedo viajar con lo que obtenido aquí, que más quisiera, pero bueno, no pierdo la fe, y soy una persona constante, nunca he dejado de crear y compartir, ahorita, necesito más para resolver mis problemas de salud, ya después que venga lo demás., te felicito la verdad, por haberlo logrado, es todo un éxito, espero sigas viajando, recorriendo cada rincón, disfrutando y conociendo, bendiciones para ti, saludos. 😉
