Several days ago I had the opportunity to visit a fair that is usually held here in my city. It is a very nice fair where all kinds of exhibits are made, from food, to exhibitions of animals, vehicles and various products.
However, as good jewelry lovers, I guess you will like to see a little of my experience in this fair when I found products related to this niche.

Hace varios días tuve la oportunidad de visitar una feria que se acostumbra a hacer aquí en mi ciudad. Es una feria muy bonita en donde se hacen todo tipo de exhibiciones, desde comidas, hasta exposiciones de animales, vehículos y diversos productos.
Sin embargo, como buenos amantes de las joyerías, supongo que les gustará ver un poco cómo fue mi experiencia en esta feria al encontrarme con productos relacionados a este nicho.
Well, I visited many stalls, where, as I said, there were a lot of products of different varieties, but the jewelries are always things worth highlighting, because they are simply beautiful and sometimes stand out among the other types of handicrafts on display.
Pues bien, estuve de visita por muchos puestos, en donde, como ya dije, habían un montón de productos de distintas variedades, pero las joyerías siempre son cosas que bien vale la pena resaltar, porque son simplemente hermosas y a veces destacan entre los otros tipos de artesanías que se exhiben.
However, I must make a parenthesis to highlight this curious hat that I bought and was my companion during my tour of this fair. A handmade hat but that can serve well to cover us from the sun in these hot days.
Sin embargo, debo hacer un paréntesis para destacar este curioso sombrero que me compré y fue mi acompañante durante mi recorrido por esta feria. Un sombrero artesanal pero que bien puede servir para cubrirnos del sol en estos días tan calurosos.
Well, one of the first tables I came across was one where there was a lot of handmade jewelry, with a small sign that says "Yaracuy, Donde Reina La Naturaleza" (Yaracuy, Where Nature Reigns). This phrase is very true, because my city is surrounded by a lot of green and often the same nature is the one that provides raw material to many of the artisans of the fair.
Bien, una de las primeras mesas que me encontré, fue una en donde había un montón de joyería artesanal, con un pequeño cartel que dice "Yaracuy, Donde Reina La Naturaleza". Esta frase es muy cierta, porque mi ciudad está rodeada de mucho verde y con frecuencia la misma naturaleza es la que provee de materia prima a muchos de los artesanos de la feria.
Often here you can see many necklaces made with leather and stones, in fact there were many necklaces of this type, others made with bone and some charms made with small pieces of wood that usually fall from trees with thick bark. As I said, many of the artisans use raw materials from nature itself.
Con frecuencia aquí se pueden ver muchos collares hechos con cuerina y piedras, de hecho había muchos collares de este tipo, otros hechos con hueso y algunos dijes hechos con pequeños trozos de madera que suelen caer de árboles de gruesa corteza. Cómo dije, mucho de los artesanos usan materia prima de la propia naturaleza.

Of course, there is a lot of more elaborate jewelry, goldsmith products, where there is a mix of good quality leather work and small metal sheets, as well as really nice rings that were well worth seeing up close and personal.
Por supuesto, hay mucha joyería más elaborada, productos de orfebrería, donde se mezcla el trabajo con cuero de buena calidad y pequeñas láminas de metal, además de anillos realmente lindos que bien valía la pena ver de cerca y en persona.

I came across another exhibit that I also liked a lot and in fact I spent a long time going through everything that was there, it was a comic, anime and pop culture themed one.
In this exhibit there were a lot of anime oriented products, with really cool stuff like figurines and, as you can see, even knitted hats of very well known characters.
Me encontré con otra exhibición que también me gustó mucho y de hecho estuve un buen tiempo revisando todo lo que había allí, era una con temática de comics, animé y cultura pop.
En esta exhibición había un montón de productos orientados al animé, con cosas realmente geniales como figuritas y, como pueden observar, hasta gorros tejidos de personajes muy conocidos.
But if we go to the jewelry store, I found a group of rings that caught my attention because they were the rings of akatsuki, a criminal gang of the well-known anime "Naruto Shippuden", all of them wore rings like the ones you see in the image on the left.
On the other hand, there were a lot, but a lot, of dragon ball, naruto, spiderman and so on themed keychains.
Pero si nos vamos a la Joyería, me encontré con un grupo de anillos que llamó mucho mi atención porque se trataban de los anillos de akatsuki, una banda criminal del conocido anime "Naruto Shippuden", todos ellos usaban anillos como los que se ven en la imagen de la izquierda.
Por otra parte, había un montón, pero un montón, de llaveros con temática de dragon ball, naruto, spiderman y demás.

Finally, I found a small stand where they had, among other things, small bracelets woven with beautiful metal ornaments of different themes, such as anchors, ship rudders, hearts, among others. They also had one with these little bracelets with a heart and an initial.
Por último, me encontré un pequeño puesto en donde tenían, entre otras cosas, unas pequeñas pulseras tejidas con preciosos adornos de metal de distintas temáticas, como anclas, timones de barcos, corazones, entre otras. Además, tenían una en donde estaban estas pequeñas pulseritas con un corazón y una inicial.
I must admit that seeing these little Chinese thread bracelets and the other crafts at the fair, reminded me of many of the works that are usually shared in the community and made me think that maybe someday I will meet a hiver at some craft show, because here what there is plenty of is talent.
Debo admitir que ver estas pequeñas pulseras de hilo chino y las demás artesanías de la feria, me recordó a muchos de los trabajos que suelen compartir en la comunidad y me hizo pensar que quizás algún día me encuentre con algún hiver en alguna exhibición de artesanía, pues aquí lo que sobra es talento.
