Esta es mi primera publicación en la comunidad, a pesar de tener bastante tiempo siguiendo la comunidad no había tenido chance de hacer algo apropiado para publicar acá. Pero hoy lo hago con unos aretes que realice combinando flores tejidas a crochet en dos diferentes tamaños y algunos otros elementos que ya les iré mostrando. Cabe destacar que también es la primera vez que hago aretes, pero quede muy contenta con el resultado.

This is my first post in the community, despite having quite some time following the community I had not had a chance to do something appropriate to post here. But today I do it with some earrings that I made combining crocheted flowers in two different sizes and some other elements that I will show you. It is also the first time I make earrings, but I was very happy with the result.
Hace poco le realice un hermosísimo atuendo a una muñera tipo Barbie para participar en uno de los concursos más queridos de la comunidad Needleworkmonday que es Needlework Your Barbie, si quieren ver el resultado del vestido aca les dejo el link.
La cuestión es que me quedaron algunas mini flores de las que había tejido para el vestido de mi muñeca y se me ocurrió usarlas para hacer unos zarcillos, ya que tengo algunos aretes tipo anzuelo de zarcillos que ya no uso y que quiero reutilizar.
Pero haciendo pruebas de cómo crear los zarcillos con estas flores se me ocurrió que con un solo par de zarcillos tipo clavo podría crear una gran variedad de zarcillos, así que busque un par de zarcillos de este tipo que me habían regalado mis hermanos cuando decidí perforar un segundo agujero en mis orejas y usarlos en esta hermosa manualidad.
I recently made a beautiful outfit for a Barbie doll to participate in one of the most beloved contests of the Needleworkmonday community which is Needlework Your Barbie, if you want to see the result of the dress here is the link.
The thing is that I had some mini flowers left from the ones I had woven for my doll's dress and I thought of using them to make some tendrils, since I have some earrings that I don't use anymore and I want to reuse them.
But testing how to create the tendrils with these flowers it occurred to me that with just one pair of nail type tendrils I could create a great variety of tendrils, so I looked for a pair of tendrils of this type that my brothers had given me when I decided to pierce a second hole in my ears and use them in this beautiful craft.
Estos zarcillos casi no los uso pues al realizar la perforación no me cure muy bien y tuve que quitarme los zarcillos con los que me habían hecho la perforación y los huequitos al curarse quedaron muy pequeños y cuando uso los aretes me lastiman un poco, así que cuando decido usarlos es solo por un par de horas, pero estoy segura que ahora si podré usarlos con más frecuencia, ya que podré lucirlos con estos nuevos y lindos modelos que he realizado yo misma.
A continuación les contare sobre los materiales que use para realizar los zarcillos y también el proceso de tejido de las flores.
MATERIALES:
-Hilo de crochet de varios colores.
-Ganchillo #1.
-Cristales para pegar.
-Silicón y/o pegamento universal.
-Tijeras.
-Cadena delgada.
También use la cadena de una pulsera que me había obsequiado mi mamá hace muchos años, y que se me rompió, la había guardado ya que me gusta mucho la forma que tiene y sabía que podía usarla en alguna manualidad.
I hardly use these earrings because when I did the piercing I did not heal very well and I had to remove the earrings with which I had done the piercing and the holes were very small and when I use the earrings they hurt me a little, so when I decide to use them it is only for a couple of hours, but I am sure that now I will be able to wear them more often, since I will be able to wear them with these new and beautiful models that I have made myself.
Next I will tell you about the materials I used to make the tendrils and also the process of weaving the flowers.
MATERIALS:
- Crochet thread of various colors.
- Crochet hook #1.
- Crystals to glue.
- Silicone and/or universal glue.
- Scissors.
- Thin chain.
I also used the chain from a bracelet that my mom had given me many years ago, and that broke, I had kept it since I really like the shape it has and I knew I could use it in some craft.
PASO A PASO:
Flores pequeñas:
Dentro de un anillo mágico tejí (2 mpa, 1 Pd) X5 veces para realizar los pétalos de la pequeña flor. Luego corte la hebra, ajuste el anillo mágico y con ambas hebras hice un par de nudos para asegurarlas y luego con la aguja lanera pase las hebras por detrás del tejido para ocultarlas y luego corte el excedente.
STEP BY STEP:
Small flowers:
Inside a magic ring I wove (2 hdc, 1 sl st) X5 times to make the petals of the small flower. Then I cut the loop, adjusted the magic ring and with both loops I made a couple of knots to secure them and then with the wool needle I passed the loops behind the fabric to hide them and then cut the excess.
Flores mediana:
Dentro de un anillo mágico tejí (1 mpa, 2 Pa, 1 mpa, 1 Pd) X5 veces. Luego corte la hebra, ajuste el anillo mágico y con ambas hebras realicé un par de nudos para asegurarlas y al igual que con las flores pequeñas oculte las hebras dentro del tejido con ayuda de una aguja lanera y luego corte el excedente.
Medium flower:
Inside a magic ring I knitted (1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sl st) X5 times. Then cut the loop, adjust the magic ring and with both strands I made a couple of knots to secure them and as with the small flowers I hid the strands inside the fabric with the help of a wool needle and then cut the excess.
También use unas pequeñas hojas, que había tejido con la idea de pegarlas al vestido de la muñeca pero que termine no usándolas, pero como siempre digo… ´todo pasa por algo´ y he aquí la razón jajaja… las usare en los aretes. No tengo fotos del proceso de tejido pero les cuente como las realice:
Hoja pequeña:
Dentro de un anillo mágico tejí 1 Pa, 1 Punto picot de 2 cad., 1 Pa, Pd. Corte la hebra, hice 2 nudos, corte el hilo sobrante y lo queme un poco para asegurarme de que no se soltaran los nudos.
Hoja mediana:
Dentro de un anillo mágico tejí 1 mpa, 1 Pa, 1 Punto picot de 2 cad., 1 Pa, 1 mpa, Pd. Y al igual que con la hoja pequeña corte la hebra, hice 2 nudos, corte el hilo sobrante y lo queme un poco para asegurarme de que no se soltaran los nudos.
Una vez tuve todas las flores que listas, comencé a hacer combinaciones de los modelitos que se me iban ocurriendo combinando los dos tamaños de flores, viendo a cuales les podía colocar las hojitas, a cuales pegarles los cristalitos en el centro y también que modelo se me ocurría combinando las cadenas con las flores y hojas, y así fui amando los diferentes estilos o modelos de aretes.
I also used some small leaves, which I had woven with the idea of attaching them to the doll's dress but I ended up not using them, but as I always say... 'everything happens for a reason' and here is the reason hahaha... I will use them in the earrings. I don't have pictures of the weaving process but I told you how I made them:
Small leaf:
Inside a magic ring I knit 1 dc, 1 Picot stitch of 2 ch, 1 dc, sl st. I cut the loop, tied 2 knots, cut the excess yarn and burned it a bit to make sure the knots wouldn't come loose.
Medium leaf:
Inside a magic ring I knit 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 Picot stitch of 2 ch, 1 dc, 1 hdc, sl st. And as with the small leaf I cut the loop, tied 2 knots, cut the excess yarn and burned it a little to make sure the knots wouldn't come loose.
Once I had all the flowers ready, I began to make combinations of the little models that I could think of combining the two sizes of flowers, seeing which ones I could put the leaves, which ones I could glue the crystals in the center and also which model I could think of combining the chains with the flowers and leaves, and so I began to love the different styles or models of earrings.
Aquí solo faltaba ocultar las hebras de las flores.
The only thing missing here is to hide the loops of flowers.

Con la mayoría de las flores grandes hice los aretes sencillos, simplemente les introduje el zarcillo por el centro y listo.
With most of the large flowers I made the simple earrings, I simply inserted the tendril in the center and that was it.
Para los aretes largos decidi hacer 4 modelos diferentes, para crearlos lo que hice fue ir presentando las flores en distintos tamaños en combinacion con las cadenas para imaginar como se verian terminados.
For the long earrings I decided to make 4 different models, to create them what I did was to present the flowers in different sizes in combination with the chains to imagine how they would look finished.
