Hello guyz!!How was your weekend?? I hope it was good.My weekend was so good because I went to Kashmir(my hometown).It was so hot here but when I arrived in Kashmir it was like 180° difference.So I enjoyed alot with my family in a good weather.Also "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY" to all of you.I think every day is a mother day so we should treat our mother like today every single day.
Today I made a storage box for my mother as a gift.It is basically for her sewing machine stuff like needles,and specially thread because she loose them every time.So I thought I should make something for her that is really needed.I think It was best idea.
Material required
1- Card board
2-A4 paper
3- scissors ✂️
4-Any adhesive I used (UHU)
5-water colors
The process
1- First of all I made the lid of the box.I used a really simple method.I cut the 4 side of the lid vertically and joined them using UHU.
Then I made the upper part and attached it with the sides.I cut the upper part as same as the sides and bottom of whole box.so that It fit perfectly.
Then I attached it on the sides.I actually did make the upper part twice.Because it does not fit the bottom(😭😭).
I covered it with the A4 paper.
Then I cut the bottom part.I cut 5 pieces all of same height and width.
Then I covered them with A4 paper.
I did all the work pretty neat (according to me🥲).
I was convinced at this very point that this is going to look really good.
Then I joined the sides and bottom of box using adhesive.If you want to make this box you should also use a very strong adhesive so that It does not fall apart and last long.
The box was ready but it was looking a bit boring.
You can just stop here if you don't like colors alot.but in my case I wanted to make it colorful.so I used watercolors to make it look more good.
And here Is the final look.
Not only it looks good but also it is very strong and not easy to break.
My mother liked it alot.I forgot to capture her expressions.
