Pintar es una gran actividad para distraer la mente y relajarse un poco y como aún tengo muchos muñecos para pintar decidí avanzar un poco con uno de los más difíciles que hice hasta ahora, cada pequeño paso es un desafío, pero es divertido de hacer. Para esta ocasión voy a pintar un gato con sombrero de brujo, pero esta vez será mi primer intento de miniatura realista así que vamos a ver que tal me sale.
Painting is a great activity to distract your mind and relax a little and since I still have a lot of dolls to paint I decided to take it a step further with one of the most difficult ones I've done so far, every little step is a challenge but it's fun to do. For this occasion I am going to paint a cat with a witcher's hat, but this time it will be my first attempt at a realistic miniature so let's see how it turns out.
Cuando de gatos se trata mis preferidos son los gatos naranjas, estos gatos suelen ser los que tienen una peor reputación por sus locuras, pero creo que es injustificado jajaja son solo gatitos incomprendidos, para empezar, cubrí toda la figura de blanco para que el color se viera mejor después y lo deje secar un buen rato, en general dejo secar una media hora como mínimo, en esta ocasión lo deje 45 minutos, ya que tiene pequeños huecos y quería que este bien seco.
When it comes to cats, my favorites are the orange cats. These cats tend to be the ones with the worst reputation for their craziness, but I think it's unjustified hahaha, they're just misunderstood kittens. To begin with, I covered the entire figure in white so that the color It looked better afterwards and I let it dry for a while, in general I let it dry for at least half an hour, on this occasion I left it for 45 minutes, since it has small gaps and I wanted it to be very dry.
Para este gato busqué fotos de gatos naranjas reales y la gran mayoría tenía manchitas blancas y grises entre su pelaje así que tenía en mente que quería jugar un poco con esa idea, pero empecé por una capa de naranja amarronado en el cuerpo, ya que tampoco quería que fuera tan naranja.
For this cat I looked for photos of real orange cats and the vast majority had white and gray spots in their fur so I had in mind that I wanted to play a little with that idea, but I started with a coat of brownish orange on the body, since neither I wanted it to be so orange.
Las manchas las hice de un tono medio gris verdoso, hice estas manchas en la cara por que tiene unos bigotes por los costados y sobre el pecho ya que se ve como pelo frondoso, pero no logré imitar pelo real, es una figura muy pequeña así que es difícil de definir y no tengo experiencia en el realismo, creo que voy a buscar algunos tutoriales la próxima jajaja.
I made the spots in a medium greenish gray tone, I made these spots on the face because it has whiskers on the sides and on the chest since it looks like lush hair, but I couldn't imitate real hair, it's a very small figure like that which is difficult to define and I have no experience in realism, I think I'll look for some tutorials next hahaha.
Avance con los detalles de la cara, su nariz rosa, sus ojos negros y su brillo que es un puntito blanco, la cara en general no me cuesta, pero quería que se viera bien así que me tome varios minutos a pincel fino para poder hacerlo bien, estoy muy conforme con este resultado. Hice en la barbilla un poco de manchón con otro color medio blanco sucio, ya que quería que se viera peludito o diera esa apariencia.
I advanced with the details of the face, his pink nose, his black eyes and his shine that is a white dot, the face in general is not difficult for me, but I wanted it to look good so I took several minutes with a fine brush to be able to do it Well, I am very satisfied with this result. I made a little stain on the chin with another half-dirty white color, since I wanted it to look furry or give that appearance.
Con la definición de cuerpo y cara ya casi estaba listo, solo faltaba pintar su gorro, que lo hice en color negro con la hebilla en marrón, como si fuera de cuero.
Lo dejé secar bastante tiempo entre cada capa de pintura y al finalizar el secado le di una capa de brillo para proteger la pintura y que les dé más vida a los colores.
With the definition of the body and face it was almost ready, the only thing left was to paint his hat, which I did in black with the buckle in brown, as if it were made of leather. I let it dry for a long time between each coat of paint and at the end of drying I gave it a coat of gloss to protect the paint and give more life to the colors.

En luz natural se aprecian un poco mejor todos los detalles de esta figura, me gusta mucho el resultado del pequeño gato mago y se suma a la colección de miniaturas pintadas a mano y se suma a mi colección de miniaturas que sigue creciendo cada vez más, necesito más lugar para poder poner todos los que quiero tener jajaja ya encontrare la manera.
