It's another beautiful week, and we are still talking about our six-year Splinterlands anniversary. I wrote a post about how I joined Splinterlands. And the only regret I've got is that I refused to start early.
This week was a good one; to some point, I was able to play some battles even though I struggled a lot to charge my gadgets. Well, we have always struggled to do that here.
The fact that I'm so in love with using the Thaddius summoner. Well, I've used so many summoners: Avina of the Wolf and Kenya Frendul. And the like. All of them are very good monsters. And believe me, they are all good in their ways.
I came across the Thaddius summoner when an opponent used it against me. Since then, I've come to realize how powerful the Thaddius summoners can be. They were built differently with monsters that have different kinds of abilities. Especially when you upgrade their levels.
Here is my battle for this week.
The rules of the battle are heavy hitters, which means all monsters have knockout abilities. 24 mana caps were given to me, and all six elements were available.
I chose Thaddius, the summoner. This summoner will deduct one health and one magic from all the opponent monsters.
I move ahead to choose Cursed Windeku; this card is on level 1, which means it can only have one ability at level 1. And it's ability is thorns. When hit with melee attacks, it does two damages back to the attacker.
I move ahead to choose life sapper; this card has the life reach ability. Units health increases anytime they do damage to an enemy.
I also chose Revealer; this card has the stun ability. Anytime a unit with stun ability hits opponents, there is a chance that the opponent will miss its next target.
Venari bonesmith, this card has the life-leech ability and the poison ability. The life-leech ability of the unit increases anytime it does damage to an opponent. Any card with poison ability has the chance to apply poison to their opponents. Which will do automatic damage at the beginning of every round when the poison is applied.
Lastly, I chose Xenith Archer. This is a range card. It doesn't have any ability, but it can attack from the angle at which I put it on.
My opponent is also a good one; he selected some good cards, but I was able to outstand him because of the cards I used.
The battle only lasted for three rounds, and I won the battle.
