Hello everyone!
I wrote my Hive introduction post. Some days back about how Splinterlands brought me into hive.
I remembered getting into splinterlands just a couple of days ago and i was skeptical about the game, honestly i got interested in it just for one reason, because its colorful, Ok! well maybe aside from colorful because its amusing.
So how did i join? I saw a post on tumblr from a user @sarahossai who posted about this challenge, i clicked on the link and voila it took me to hive, reading futher i thought and knew it was exactly my kinda game, so i clicked futher on the link and boom it took me to the amazing game called splinterlands.
Now i dont want to be over dramatic or under dramatic but splinterlands is a brilliant project filled with lots of adventures and experience, to me words cannot express the turning point i feel joining splinterlands.
The thing i love about it is the words of irony it used, now these words makes one fill as though he is actually inside the game.
I havent played any battles yet though, am still going through some tutorial post i searched on hive on how to get started with splinterlands, and i must say its quite simple and elegant,
Now i saw numerous tutorials online to get around this game but the simplest that really captured my attention was the tutorial post from @mypathtofire. i've actually finished tutorial 1 and 2 and right now am in tutorial 3
Now these tutorials are second to known Tutorial 1 gives you what splinterlands is really all about, tutorial 2 how ever went on futher into explaining the fundamentals of what splinterlands contains, while tutorial 3 tells you the right cards to choose and start working with.
The truth about splinterlands is its fun and exciting i was skeptical not until i realize one can start playing for free at first just to get the ropes around, one can get a spellbook for just $10 for a paid account. But right now i want to get soo dame good at the game before getting the spell book.
I have alot of aim and goal for splinterland, i even learned that one can benefit from it by gaining rewards and tokens while playing the game. My plans for splinterlands is gonna take a very long time to achieve yes! But at the long run it will be so worth.
First things first is to get myself the knowledge i need to know what works and what doesnt in the game, then get the spellbook and some set of powerful cards to get the ball rolling. And then every other plans follows.
So if you're just starting out i suggest you check out Mypathtofire tutorial post, the once i mentioned above. For now this is the only strategy and tips i can give you that will really sink in
