What's your favorite way to travel and your most memorable trip?

My answer:

I love flying! I love peering out of that little window, watching the vastness of the World below, I love the feeling of taking-off and of acceleration, that feeling of soaring above the Clouds like a bird, freedom, ecstasy, the incredible feeling of everything, including skyscrapers appearing as specks from up in the sky. I have had no problem with heights, in fact I have an affinity for it, it remains one of the most beautiful part of the whole experience for me.

My first time traveling by air was a little bit scary though, thank God for my husband who held me close to him, but after that I was hooked and the subsequent ones, were very enjoyable for me.

My wedding was a very grand one, comparable only to that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.....😅
The honeymoon was slated for two days after and new hubby had booked our flights, for our journey to Calabar. It was a domestic flight and would be my very first trip in an aircraft.

I saw my little knowledge of geography come in to play as we ascended the Skies, 70% of uninhabited Land and bodies of water. I was able to identify the different layers like the atmosphere, the lithosphere and then it was like we were suspended in space. The expanse of Nature, the delicate but orderly layouts or arrangements deepened my appreciation of God, the Maker of them all.

At a point when the plane started vibrating, i wasn't scared because my husband assured me of the safety. The beautifully dressed air hostesses were all very nice and professional. In all it was a very nice trip for me.

It's a memorable trip because it was my honeymoon and because Calabar is a very beautiful place. A place with a very rich cultural heritage, the Obudu Mountain Resort was our stop, a breathtaking destination I must say.

We were there for one week and I was sick almost the whole of it, the build-up of the wedding preparations took its toll on my health. Even if sickness interfered, it was my most enjoyable trip nonetheless.

Thank you @ericvancewalton for helping small accounts like mine grow.🤗

What a wonderful experience that must be, first time flying on your honeymoon. It adds to the beautiful memories :) Being up there is amazing, especially when you get a window seat. Your eyes can feast on the vastness of the earth :)
