The Anniversary Concert!

in Q Inspired-by-Music14 days ago (edited)

Well, I must confess to those who follow my content as a chorale and to my closest friends on Hive that this time I have failed them. I have not taken a single photograph at our anniversary concert on Saturday, especially I have failed @avdesing, who told me that he expected to see some images, but here I have edited this video with a summary of what was this German Requiem by composer Johannes Brahms.

There are many reasons why I didn't even take a selfie, but none of them are bad. The most important thing that happened coincides with the name of this community, that day I was really Inspired by Music. As I told you in a previous post, I had a lot of mixed feelings, I had to give away the wonderful tickets that were for my mom, who in the end couldn't go and there were some inconveniences with the traffic and the punctuality of the concert, but in the end everything went well and it was one of the best musical experiences I've ever had.

The best moment to record the adrenaline I experienced was during the hour and a half of the concert, but I can't do it, at that moment I am focused on the conductor and the scores, besides the sound of my colleagues. I don't know if you can notice me in the video, it doesn't have the best quality, but I sang in the first row, practically in the center of the choir and not bordering with the baritones as I usually do.

Singing surrounded by my string of tenors is quite an experience, I felt part of the group and I felt that I really contributed, I am happy that after so many years I have made vocal progress and this music lent itself to exploit the potential in me. I don't know if others hear me as well as I hear myself hahaha.

You know that the music touched my heart, especially the fifth movement where the Soprano soloist lulls us with her sublime singing, but I was very professional and did not let the tears come to the surface. I was also in an area where the camera focuses a lot on the singers and I hope to have the video edited soon, so I can't go out like a Magdalena, I don't allow myself to. Singing this Requiem is a dream come true for all of us, we had wanted to do this music for years, but we lacked the level, and it seems we have reached it.

Saturday's concert had not started when we saw on instagram that they were already selling tickets for our next concert, which will be the first weekend of June at the Teresa Carreño Theater. How is this possible? They hadn't even given us the sheet music and already the name of the choir is in advertisements in Caracas.... Well, this is the life I dreamed of, and sincerely I live it with great joy, there will be time to rest; the good thing is that I managed to spend a couple of days with my mother in the midst of so much music ❤️

You did not fail me at all! I couldn't stop the tears when I listened to the concert, wonderful! It is thrilling!!!

I loved it!!!!!!! And very much!!!!! Thank you for that!

I'm so glad you had such a great experience!❤️

I am very happy, dear friend. I still fell in love with this montage, so in a couple of weeks I think I will order the recording, there is so much to exploit from what the music says and the experience of each movement of the composer. Thank you 🙏

I'll be looking forward to it, it's going to be great!

I think I could see you, confirm me if you are the fourth of the first row from left to right (from the focus of the video) and if I missed it, sorry 😂

What a beautiful music, I was delighted with the violins, it's not uncommon for that to happen to me haha ❤️

Here's to many more years of making magic on stage 😍

Wow, you found me among so many hahaha, yes, I was fourth from left to right from where the men start. It was a very special location for me because of what I narrated in the post... Life has changed since that day, because when I put on the uniform I could hardly close my shirt hahaha, I need to lose weight urgently. Thanks for your support Yami 😘

Hello dear friend @jesuslnrs good morning
It makes me very happy to know that everything has gone very well, and that you have enjoyed your participation. It's good that the group has finally achieved the level they have long desired and that there is already another concert on the way for the first days of June.
Enjoy this moment for which you have worked so hard.
Beautiful video, I'm excited to see you.
Have a great day

This choral ensemble was already at a high level, at least until 2017, but then it was affected by migration. Although it has always been very good, it is not easy to start again with new people, including myself, so it is very special to recover and improve what had already been worked on. Particularly I have also grown as an artist and that is bringing me a lot of satisfaction. Thanks for noticing and thanks for your words of support brother.

Amigo, pude visualizarte! Jeje! Estás casi en frente del director! 😃

¡Feliz Jueves!...
