The great tower - watercolours on paper

Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a glimpse of an avenue in the sun with a medieval building closing the view. I have depicted a beautiful sunny day warmly spreading over the buildings, a typical Italian foreshortening seen from under a large arch.

I started from the preparatory pencil drawing and coloured the sky and the foreground of the vaulted arch.

I painted the colour base of the large tower and the trees on the avenue.

Then it was the turn of the colours on the background mountain.

And finally the light shadows in violet and brown.

I hope you like my watercolour and I send you my best regards.

La grande torre - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido uno scorcio di viale al sole con un edificio medievale che chiude la visuale. Ho rappresentato una bella giornata di sole che si diffonde caldamente sugli edifici, uno scorcio tipico italiano visto da sotto un grande arco. Sono partito dal disegno preparatorio a matita ed ho colorato il cielo e il primo piano dell'arco a volta. Ho dipinto la base cromatica della grande torre e gli alberi del viale. Poi è stata la volta dei colori sulla montagna di fondo. Ed infine le ombre leggere di colore violetto e marrone.

Spero che il mio acquarello vi piaccia e vi mando i miei più cari saluti.
