This weekend has been great, I am delighted with how much I was able to rest and how nice it was to have moments to take care of myself and enjoy some little things that put me in a good mood.
Today has been a day to be at home, share with the family and play a lot with the kids. I have taken it very easy and also felt that I added a lot with my company. Not bad to prepare for another week of routine and work.
So basically I prefer to summarize yesterday's walk, which had more movement and news. At the beginning of the day I had a routine medical appointment and since I was close to the destination well before the scheduled time, I went to visit a specialty coffee shop that I had been wanting to check out for a while, I wasn't planning to sit there, but to stop by and get a coffee to go while I walked around a bit.
I didn't sit down but my first visit to Acho Café wasn't that short either, it turns out I was delighted with this little place. The barista who attends is a very nice guy, and he immediately started telling me things about the origins of the coffee he had that day and told me many details about the producers and the way he chose who to trade with. Now I understand why it has earned a place on the list of the best coffee shops in Spain this year.
And it deserves it both for the attention and for the quality of the product, it is a little corner, a tiny place without any pretension, to go to have a good coffee with something for breakfast and that's it. Just the right thing to do.
So in addition to a wonderful Ethiopian filter coffee that I took with me to wake me up, I left with a package of freshly ground Colombian coffee that gave off a magical smell. I left super happy, I'm already looking forward to going back.
Este fin de semana ha estado muy bien, estoy encantada con lo mucho que pude descansar y lo agradable que fue tener momentos para cuidarme y disfrutar de algunas pequeñas cosas que me ponen de buen humor.
Hoy ha sido un día de estar en casa, compartir con la familia y jugar mucho con los peques. Me lo he tomado con mucha calma y además he sentido que sumaba mucho con mi compañía. Nada mal para prepararse a una semana más de rutina y trabajo.
Así que básicamente prefiero resumir el paseo de ayer, que tuvo más movimiento y novedades. Al comienzo del día tenia una cita médica rutinaria y como estuve cerca del destino mucho antes de la hora prevista, fui a conocer una cafetería de especialidad que tenía tiempo queriendo visitar, no tenía pensado sentarme allí, si no pasar buscando un café para llevar mientras caminaba un poco por los alrededores.
No me senté pero tampoco fue tan breve mi primera visita a Acho Café, resulta que quedé encantada con ese pequeño lugar. El barista que atiende es un tipo muy agradable, y en seguida comenzó a contarme cosas sobre los orígenes del café que tenía ese día y me contó muchas detalles sobre los productores y la forma en que elegía con quien comerciar. Ahora entiendo porque se ha ganado un lugar en la lista de las mejores cafeterías de España este año.
Y se lo merece tanto por la atención como por la calidad del producto, es un rinconcito, un lugar pequeñito sin ninguna pretensión, para ir a tomar un buen café acompañado de algo para desayunar y ya. Lo Justo y necesario.
Así que además de un maravilloso café de filtro origen Etiopía que me lleve para ir despertándome, salí de allí con un paquete de café colombiano recién molido que desprendía un olor mágico. Me fui súper feliz, ya tengo muchas ganas de volver.
With my coffee in hand I walked a bit along Alfonso Street, which was quite busy that morning but nevertheless it was not annoying to walk around. It was nice weather and the blue color of the sky was beautiful.
I didn't do many steps as I expected, I still have a sore foot from going a couple of weeks ago to a trampoline park and jumping without much care as if I were a little girl. I enjoyed it very much but didn't realize I had hurt myself for my recklessness until the next day. I had to walk a race I had signed up for xD at least it was only 5k, but I would have preferred to be able to run.
Anyway, my foot is still bothering me a bit and I'm trying to walk slower and less than usual. I'm going to take it easy, better a light walk than an overload that will prevent me from doing anything again.
Con mi café en mano caminé un poco por la Calle Alfonso, que estaba bastante concurrida esa mañana pero sin embargo no era molesto andar por ahí. Hacia un clima muy agradable y el color azul del cielo era precioso.
No hice muchos pasos como esperaba, sigo con un dolor en el pie por haberme ido hace un par de semanas a un parque de trampolines y haber saltado sin mucho cuidado como si fuera una niña pequeña. Lo disfruté mucho pero no me di cuenta que me había lastimado por mi imprudencia hasta el día siguiente. Tuve que hacer caminando una carrera en la que me había inscrito xD al menos fueron solo 5k, pero hubiese preferido poder correr.
En fin, que todavía me molesta un poco el pie y estoy intentando caminar más despacio y menos de lo usual. Me lo voy a tomar con calma, mejor un paseo ligero que una sobrecarga que me impida hacer nada otra vez.

During the afternoon more than walking, it was more like spending a family afternoon between arcades, summer shopping and easy food.
We went to eat at a sushi buffet, those places where you can order to your heart's content but don't waste anything to avoid extra charges. I didn't feel like overeating so I took it easy and tried several things we ordered to share.
I find it funny that these types of places include dishes from other Asian cuisines, not just Japanese. In the end they are places for all the public to have choices and feel that the buffet is the best option to keep everyone happy. We ate well and stayed there for a long time chatting.
Durante la tarde más que caminar, fue pasar una tarde familiar entre salas de videojuegos, compras de verano y comida fácil.
Fuimos a comer a un bufet de sushi, esos lugares en los que puedes pedir hasta el cansancio pero sin desperdiciar nada para evitar cargos adicionales. Yo no tenía ganas de comer exageradamente así que me lo tomé con calma y probé varias cosas que pedimos para compartir.
Me parece gracioso que este tipo de lugares incluyan platos de otras cocinas asiáticas, no solo japonesas. Al final son locales para que todo el público pueda tener opciones y sientan que el bufet es la mejor opción para tener a todos contentos. Comimos bien y estuvimos allí un largo rato charlando.
Before leaving I discovered that there was a burger restaurant Fitzgerald, a very good option that I didn't know it had this store in the Puerto Venecia shopping center, I was very pleased to discover it because I don't usually like too much the food options there, but with this burger restaurant I think I have a good reason to stop declining some outings to go there.
I'm not a big fan of spending time in malls, but they are where the arcades and various activities are in one place, so it ends up being easier to please the kids there than moving from destination to destination.
I ended up ordering a soda at the burger joint just to sit for a while, I loved the skull shaped glasses, I think I want some like that for my house hahahaha.
Antes de irnos descubrí que había un local de la hamburguesería Fitzgerald, una muy buena opción que desconocía que tenía esta cede en el Centro comercial Puerto Venecia, me gustó mucho descubrirla porque no suelen gustarme demasiado las opciones de comida que hay allí, pero con esta hamburguesería creo que tengo una buena razón para dejar de declinar algunas salidas para ir hasta allá.
No soy demasiado de pasar tiempo en centro comerciales, pero en ellos es donde están las salas de juegos y actividades variadas en un mismo lugar, así que termina siendo más fácil complacer a los peques allí que moviéndonos de destino en destino.
Terminé pidiendo un refresco en la hamburguesería solo por sentarme un rato, me encantaron los vasos en forma de calavera, creo que quiero unos así para mi casa jajajaja.
