Yesterday, I went to my friend’s house to do chores. Kidding! I went there with our other friends to eat and have fun.
Lately we have this “activity list” where we listed what we’re going to do whenever we gather at one’s house. It’s not actually a “doing” list, more like “cooking and eating” list.
Yesterday on our menu was the chocolatey champorado, a Filipino snack that we haven’t eaten for years already since we couldn’t find the *tableya” (pure cocoa) in Japan. Or maybe we have found it before but we never cared, or just ignored it.
Champorado is rice with the chocolate flavor.
Next was the toron. It’s fried like lumpia shanghai but since it’s a sweet delicacy in the Philippines, what’s inside is not meat but banana and jackfruit. A friend came back from the country and brought jackfruit in can.
After we had few drinks while playing Bingo. I won in the blackout category by the way!
My friend’s house isn’t so near the train station so we had to walk, did groceries and walk again. It’s different when you walk alone and with friends. Do you understand that feeling? With friends you get to walk slow. Maybe because we’re busy talking a lot. LOL
Luckily we didn’t rush to get on to the last train as it was Sunday and we figured we should not go home so late. If we did, we would have been running to the station. 😅

Sobrang perfect ng champorado sa weather ngayon dito sa pinas, mahangin at maulan. It's nice na nakagawa kayo ng turon at champorado sa Japan, it's also like being in Philippines..
It's also cold weather here kaya parang naging perfect talaga ung champorado hehe Ung toron mahirap maghanap ng perfect banana buti nakahanap hehe
Ay baka extension na ng Japan yung pilipinas ang lamig din ng panahon dito hahaha, wala palang binebentang saging diyan?
Okay nga yan, at least d masyadong mainit.
May saging dito pero not accessible, like parang piling stores lang meron and sometimes need pa hanapin.
True, mas gusto ko gloomy lang palagi kesa sa mainit.
Napaka-rare nga pala talaga ng saging diyan sa Japan, kaya din siguro maraming namimiss ang pinas..
