Back to the Lutheria workshop for a special order [Eng/Spa]

After a few days of classes, rehearsals and concerts I returned to the Lutheria workshop for a moment because I had a very good order and I had to attend to it quickly.

The order was this, it looks like a normal bridge that needs to be calibrated better and cleaned a little, and if so, but this bridge has more history than just that, it was the first bridge that in those times I tried to repair with the little knowledge I had , for a colleague who needed something urgently and between the speed and the little knowledge I made that mess that you see below, that's why it was necessary to go back to the workshop and fix all my mess and now deliver a better job.

Después de unos días de clases, ensayos y conciertos volví un momento al taller de Lutheria porque tenia un encargo muy bueno y tenia que atenderlo rápido.

El encargo era este, parece un puente normal que hay que calibrar mejor y limpiarlo un poco, y si es así, pero este puente tiene mas historia que solo eso, fue el primer puente que en esos tiempos intente reparar con el poco conocimiento que tenia, para un colega que necesitaba algo urgente y entre lo rápido y el poco conocimiento hice ese desastre que ven aquí abajo, por eso era necesario volver al taller y arreglar todo mi desastre y entregar ahora un mejor trabajo.

After marking the line for its new calibration, its correct calibration, I immediately began sanding until I reached the margin of it, of the line already drawn.

Después de marcar la linea para su nueva calibración, su calibración correcta, de una vez empecé a lijar hasta llevar al margen de ella, de la linea ya dibujada.

Very carefully without sanding the upper right part of the bridge, where the G and C strings are located because they were already quite low and comfortable.

Con mucho cuidado sin lijar tanto la parte derecha superior del puente, donde están ubicadas las cuerdas G y C porque ya estaban bastante bajas y cómodas.

So little by little I continued to have that base result, and then went down a little more with the wooden chisel and left the upper part of the bridge a little thinner in general.

Así que poco a poco seguí para tener ese resultado base, para después bajar un poco mas con el cincel de madera y dejar un poco más delgada la parte superior del puente en general.

It was only a little bit and then went to a complete sanding process to even out as much as possible in a general way, also to eliminate that dirty color and make it look good.

Solo fue un poco para después ir a un proceso de lijado completo para emparejar lo posible de manera general, también para eliminar ese color sucio y que tenga buena apariencia.

Then I began to make the opening for the strings very carefully.

Después comencé hacer la apertura para las cuerdas con mucho cuidado.

I was already approaching the end, I continued sanding to finish details on the upper front part and then just cleaning.

Ya me estaba acercando al final, seguí lijando para finiquitar detalles de la parte superior delantera y después solo limpieza.

And then the final result, ready for it to do its job again but now in the best way.

Y a continuación el resultado final, listo para que vuelva hacer su función pero ahora si de la mejor manera.

You don't know how happy I felt to have this bridge in my hands again, and to be able to work on it now in the best way and have these results, so this gives me more encouragement to continue in this "new" thing for me.

No saben lo feliz que me sentí al volver a tener este puente en mis manos, y poder trabajarlo ahora de la mejor forma y tener estos resultados, así que esto me da mas animo a seguir en esto "nuevo" para mi.

Many to see and read my publication, as I said in the previous one, they are somewhat atypical, it is something new that I am doing, I really like it a lot, knowing that beyond playing, singing and composing, I can be useful to other people by helping in little things like these that are so indispensable.

Muchas por ver y leer mi publicación, como le dije en la anterior, son algo atípicas, es algo nuevo que estoy haciendo, de verdad me gusta mucho, saber que mas allá de tocar, cantar y componer, puedo ser útil para otras personas ayudando en pequeñas cosas como estas que son tan indispensables.
