Mono Monday a few random Images

Mono Monday a few random Images

Good morning all

As is myu habit for Mondays i am sharing a few mono images this morning and no real theme this week just selected a few I have edited in Mono from various walks here and there

Starting with this shot of a few of the commercial fishing boats in one of the ports here in New Bedford, these ones I saw on a walk on Popes Island one morning.

I do take lotsof photos of the commercial fishing boats there is so many of them here it is one of the busiest if not busiest fishing ports in the United States

and next up we have some of the cannons at Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven a place I enjy visiting for my early morning walks I often share photos of themin color but when I did this one in Mono I thought i should be more with the age of the cannons mono gives a timeless feel to the photo I think

Next up stillin Fort pHoenix, Looking at the gates inthe middle of the Hurricane Barrier wall, generally open so the fishing boats can head out to see but if a big storm rolls in they are closed

Also in shot is the site where they are constructing the WInd Turbines

The cannon photos are so cool I like the light flash in the corner of the image too. Nicely done, Jay!

Hello @tattoodjay, how beautiful your black and white photographs are.

Beautiful, beautiful pictures you have done a great job 👍👍👍

As always beautiful photos... Enjoy your Monday

The photo of the boats is really cool. My husband would like to check out both of the places with the cannons for sure! And my kids would want to climb all over them. Ha! 😅 Have a great week!

That first cannon shot looks like it belongs in the 1800's and aged. Very cool. I hope you're healing up well!

Cannons and fishing boats always seem timeless in black and white. Interestingly even the wind turbines even seem like an old timey photo.

I want to congratulate you for your incredible work and dedication – your efforts truly inspire and elevate our entire community!
