Features of mountain air

Hi!

The higher you climb the mountains, the thinner the air becomes. Atmospheric pressure is gradually falling. The human body tolerates these changes painfully.

Of course, if your body is trained and prepared for such campaigns, then these tests will affect you in a minimal way. We, who went to such mountains for the first time, did not have such an experience. Therefore, we were not immediately dragged to the highest point of the proposed route.

First, we settled down and spent the night in the intermediate camp "Nomad". This has significantly helped many of us to move further upward more easily.

And when we finally got to the base camp, it wasn't on the first day that the instructors dragged us to the pass. It only happened a couple of days later. And there we got used to the changed natural conditions. We didn't even think about it and found out all the reasons only much later, when we returned home.

In black and white, the "rust" is not visible, but the contrast of the light, almost white, sky and dark mountains is well manifested.

Returning to the topic of thin air, I want to note that people who constantly live in the mountains live longer than those who live below. Among the mountain peoples, centenarians are most common.

And scientists associate this with the miraculous effect of mountain air. Due to the fact that the pressure in the mountains is lower, the air itself is more rarefied there, which means it contains less oxygen. And although it is oxygen that gives us the opportunity to live, but its restriction slows down the aging process of our body.

In addition, the content of various bacteria in the mountain air decreases sharply. and this means reducing the risk of infection with pathogens.

Another important positive factor for health is air ionization. In the mountains, the air is more ionized and this also helps to protect our body from bacteria.

But unfortunately, not every person who has never been to the mountains before will calmly endure such a drastic change in the environment. For example, my wife was never able to climb the pass. At the very beginning of the journey, she felt unwell and returned to the base camp.

Fortunately, she recovered quickly there and I was able to leave her under the supervision of the instructors, and I caught up with our group.

If you have the opportunity to visit the mountains, do not hesitate. It will only benefit you. The main thing is to follow the safety rules.

The only mountains that can be better than mountains are those that you haven't been to yet!

The oxygen level at the height of the mountain is so low.but the beauty of these mountain is fascinating.

I didn't feel the lack of oxygen at all. But some were a little uncomfortable.

In life, you can always find time to travel.
