Saludos queridos amigos de la comunidad Hive Pet!
He estado varios días fuera de la plataforma y es que se han presentado unos cambios importantes en mi vida y cotidianidad y es que nos mudamos! lo digo en plural, porque conmigo también se vinieron mis dos bebés felinos Julián y Rubén quizás eso hubiera sido más rutinario para mi en el pasado, ya que no soy originaria del lugar que me encuentro ahora y durante mi época universitaria pasé por varias mudanzas, la diferencia de esta vez fue trasladar también a mis gatos y eso desde el minuto cero que supe que debía mudarme fue motivo de estrés, porque ellos nacieron, crecieron y crecían en ese lugar, nunca los había sacado y supuse que sería un choque bastante fuerte para ellos y efectivamente lo fue y aún seguimos adaptándonos al nuevo hogar.

I have been several days away from the platform and there have been some important changes in my life and daily life and that is that we moved! I say it in plural, because with me also came my two feline babies Julian and Ruben, maybe that would have been more routine for me in the past, since I am not originally from the place where I am now and during my college days I went through several moves, The difference this time was to move my cats and that from the very first minute I knew I had to move was a cause of stress, because they were born, raised and grew up in that place, I had never taken them out and I assumed it would be quite a shock for them and indeed it was and we are still adapting to the new home.
Desde el primer momento estaba pensando en como trasladarlos cómodamente y como acondicionar la nueva casa a la que nos mudariamos para hacerla más gato amigable, (en eso aun estoy trabajando) pero lo importante en el momento era como trasladarlos, por lo apresurado del viaje no contaba con un kennel para ellos, pues como lo mencioné anteriormente nunca los habia sacado de casa y no había planeado movilizarlos y las veces que si, fue al veterinario que vive a pocas cuadras por lo que para ello empleaba uno de mis bolsos de uso cotidiano; así que para este viaje decidí comprar un par de arneses para ellos y pensé que serían suficiente, grave error, en cuanto mis gatos sintieron todo el movimiento se alteraron mucho, sobre todo el pequeño Rubén quien está menos habituado al trato de otras personas que no sea yo o mi antigua compañera de casa, rápidamente se liberaron de sus arneses y corrieron a refugiarse.
From the first moment I was thinking about how to move them comfortably and how to condition the new house to which we were moving to make it more cat friendly, (I am still working on that) but the important thing at the moment was how to move them, because of the haste of the trip I did not have a kennel for them, because as I mentioned before I had never taken them out of the house and I had not planned to move them and the times I did, it was to the vet who lives a few blocks away so I used one of my everyday bags for that purpose; So for this trip I decided to buy a pair of harnesses for them and I thought they would be enough, big mistake, as soon as my cats felt all the movement they got very upset, especially little Ruben who is less accustomed to the treatment of other people than me or my former housemate, they quickly broke free of their harnesses and ran to take shelter.
Por suerte quien me ayudo en la mudanza fue mi padre en su camioneta, así que decidimos subir todo al carro y dejarlos tranquilos hasta el momento de arrancar, he hice lo habitual use unos de mis bolsos para guardarlos solo hasta la primera parada de nuestro viaje donde mi amiga @oscarly nos prestaría su Kennel para llevarlos de forma más segura a nuestro destino
Luckily who helped me in the move was my father in his truck, so we decided to put everything in the car and leave them alone until the time to start, I did the usual I used some of my bags to keep them only until the first stop of our trip where my friend @oscarly would lend us her Kennel to take them more safely to our destination.
El kennel fue la mejor idea, rápidamente pude ver como ambos se calmaban en la seguridad de ese refugio y hasta se quedaron dormidos el resto de camino hasta llegar a la casa de mi amiga @oscarly donde estaremos viviendo ahora y donde ahora compartiremos el techo con su querida mascota Zeus, pero esa es arena de otro arenero y luego se contaré como nos va con la convivencia.
The kennel was the best idea, I could quickly see how they both calmed down in the safety of that shelter and even fell asleep the rest of the way to my friend @oscarly's house where we will be living now and where we will now share the roof with her beloved pet Zeus, but that is sand from another sandbox and I will tell you later how we are doing with the coexistence.
Lo que si es seguro es que estoy muy orgullosa de mis muchachos, se están adaptando mucho más rápido de lo que yo hubiera imaginado y me emociona cada vez que van ganando más terreno y lo mejor de todo siguen siendo los dos hermanos felinos más amorosos que yo hubiera conocido jamás.
What is for sure is that I am very proud of my boys, they are adapting much faster than I could have imagined and I am thrilled every time they are gaining more ground and best of all they are still the two most loving feline brothers I have ever met.

De verdad cuando me enteré de tu mudanza pensé en Rubén y Julián, a lo que Víctor se rió porque pues me se exactamente los nombres jaja
Me alegra mucho que su viaje haya sido cómodo y que el estrés haya disminuido, supongo que la convivencia con Zeus es cuestión de adaptación, pero sé que les irá muy bien y a ti también te deseo lo mejor en este nuevo hogar✨🌷
si, yo también estaba muy estresada por mudar a mis gatitos, pero como lo mencione, todo esta yendo mejor de lo que pensé, pero igual aun estamos adaptándonos al nuevo lugar, jajaj! si tu los conoces bien gracias a Hive💖

Las mascotas sufren un poco por las mudanzas sobre todo si nacieron y vivieron en el mismo sitio, que bueno que tus pequeños se relajaron🫂 deseo que sea 10/10 esa adaptación.
Si amiga! pero ellos son mucho mas inteligentes y adaptables de lo que imagine, ya están como peces en el agua en el nuevo lugar, gracias por tus buenos deseos

Certainly moving can be quite a trauma for them, I once had to move and I had to bring my little Tchalla with me, adapting to the new house took her a long time but unlike other cats, during the move my Tchalla was completely calm, she never got upset or anything, it was not so traumatic for her.
for mine it was stressful only at the beginning because I thought it would be enough with the harness, but luckily I could move them with me, because one of the options that arose at the time was to leave them and look for them later, but that was unthinkable for me.
No hay nada más fuerte que lidiar con el transporte de un gato y que este se estrese y se torne agresivo, que bueno que todo salió bien.
ni me lo digas, fue súper difícil en el momento de subirlos en el carro, pero el resto del viaje fue bastante mejor💙
El primer día es el mas difícil. Se adaptan rápido a su nuevo hogar.
