In order to win and remain in the top position in all of the above-mentioned places, we all understand the dangers involved in sharing this information with our opponents.

No king goes into war without first sitting down to analyze how he intends to defeat his opponent. How to build a strategy for winning.
Building a practical strategy is like forecasting the different or potential outcomes of situations and projecting a possible manner of approach for each. It is a part of the planning process where one prepares himself for any possible challenge, however it may come. Some of the tools we can use to build winning strategies include, but are not limited to:
- Practical experimentation.
Testing out our strength via friendly football matches with our opponent has been one of the winning strategies for some football teams. The coach of such teams studies his opponents in this match to gather information about them and hence make his plans based on that.
Another scenario we have seen is when kings send out spys into the camps of their enemies. That way, they gather first-hand information to work with while preparing for war.
- Having a Plan B.
This includes developing and understanding the worst-case scenario or outcome for any endeavor. Sometimes having multiple choices ensures that when one strategy fails, we don't get stranded in the middle of a task, and we can hence take up the opponent from another angle he never may have thought about.
A businessman can think of multiple ways to attract his customers. The moment he notices a reduction in sales, an action is taken immediately, either to reduce the price or rebrand the product to make it more attractive. This is why it is important to always create multiple choices at all times; it's a good strategy to keep one at the top. This is the aim of the constant SWOT analysis in most businesses.
