Es notable el esfuerzo que muchos hivers están haciendo en diferentes partes del mundo para hacer crecer la colmena, el objetivo es lograr que muchas personas entiendan y se unan al mundo de la blockchain y a nuestra plataforma Hive.
En ese sentido, un equipo de hivers se han organizado para realizar el primer #hivemeetupArgentina en la ciudad de Buenos Aires en el mes de septiembre de este año.
Cómo parte de las actividades previas a dicho evento, el equipo organizador a invitado a todos los hivers de la plataforma a participar en el Concurso Creación de Pósters para el Primer Hive Meetup Argentina si desean saber cómo participar aquí dejo el enlace para que conozcan las reglas.

It is remarkable the effort that many hivers are doing in different parts of the world to grow the hive, the goal is to get many people to understand and join the world of blockchain and our Hive platform.
In that sense, a team of hivers have organized to hold the first #hivemeetupArgentina in the city of Buenos Aires in the month of September this year.
As part of the activities prior to the event, the organizing team has invited all hivers of the platform to participate in the Poster Creation Contest for the First Hive Meetup Argentina, if you want to know how to participate here I leave the link to know the rules.
Apenas supe de éste concurso quise participar, siempre me ha llamado la atención la creación de contenido visual y nada como un cartel para vender una idea o un producto, en este caso es el evento HiveMeetupArgentina.
La aplicación Canva es la que utilizo en mi blog y en otros espacios para crear este tipo de contenido, con ella diseño mis portadas, collages de fotografías y otras presentaciones de contenido visual. Y para participar en éste concurso es la que usé para mí diseño.
Antes de comenzar mí diseño planifique los pasos que me servirían de guía, aquí se los dejo.
✅En primer lugar, leí varias veces las reglas de participación.
✅Comencé con la búsqueda de las imágenes que deseaba utilizar, la imagen de fondo, fotografías alusivas al país, los logos.
✅La palabra que identifica al evento es HiveMeetupArgentina, es el eslogan publicitario principal, así que no podía cambiarlo.
✅Puse por escrito otras ideas secundarias, que tuvieran las palabras claves como Blockchain y Hivers.
✅No podía faltar señalar el lugar, y la fecha, en este caso el mes y el año.
As soon as I heard about this contest I wanted to participate, I have always been interested in creating visual content and there is nothing like a poster to sell an idea or a product, in this case it's the event HiveMeetupArgentina.
The Canva application is the one I use in my blog and other spaces to create this type of content, with it I design my covers, photo collages and other visual content presentations. And to participate in this contest is the one I used for my design.
Before starting my design I planned the steps that would serve as a guide, here they are:
✅First of all, I read several times the rules of participation.
✅I started with the search for the images I wanted to use, the background image, photographs allusive to the country, the logos.
✅The word that identifies the event is HiveMeetupArgentina, it is the main advertising slogan, so I could not change it.
✅I put in writing other secondary ideas, which had the keywords like Blockchain and Hivers.
✅I could not miss to point out the place, and the date, in this case the month and the year.
A continuación les presento el paso a paso que seguí para crear mí diseño.
El banco de imágenes de libre uso que más utilizo es el de Pixabay, en este caso solo coloque la palabra Argentina y salieron una infinidad de imágenes alusivas a la cultura, arquitectura y geografía del país. Confieso que está es una de las cosas que más me costó realizar ya que buscar una imágen compatible con el evento y a mi gusto no fue fácil. Sin embargo me quedé prendida de una fotografía de el baile típico de Argentina el tango, nada más argentino que un tango.
Me enamoré de esa fotografía, así que la edité para darle un poco más de dramatismo.
Dure horas, haciendo este cartel, que aunque me gustó el resultado confieso, que al día siguiente lo percibí como un evento cultural y además me pareció recargado. Así que ahí estaba yo, de nuevo comenzando desde el principio.
Tres póster de prueba
En mi caso esto no es nada nuevo, a veces trabajo dos o tres portadas hasta quedar satisfecha, considero que este es un aspecto importante de mi blog, ya que es lo primero que atrae la atención del lector.
Here is the step by step I followed to create my design.
The image bank that I use the most is Pixabay, in this case I just put the word Argentina and I got a lot of images alluding to the culture, architecture and geography of the country. I confess that this is one of the things that was the hardest to do since it was not easy to find an image compatible with the event and to my taste. However, I fell in love with a photograph of a typical Argentinean dance, the tango, nothing more Argentinean than a tango.
I fell in love with that picture, so I edited it to give it a little more contrast.
I spent hours, making this poster, and although I liked the result, I confess that the next day I perceived it as a cultural event and it seemed overloaded. So there I was, again starting from the beginning.
In my case this is nothing new, sometimes I work two or three covers until I am satisfied, I consider that this is an important aspect of my blog, since it is the first thing that attracts the reader's attention.
Comencé de nuevo, pero esta vez quise ser más objetiva y me ubiqué mentalmente en que es un evento relacionado con la Blockchain, así que la imágen principal debía ser sobre eso.

No solo sería la imágen principal, decidí que abarcaría el cartel completo, aún así seleccioné un fondo negro que se extendiera a la parte superior e inferior del cartel.
Por otra parte decidí trabajar con el logotipo rojo de Hive, y el logotipo del HiveMeetupArgentina que está diseñado con los colores y símbolos de la bandera de Argentina, esta imágen me la facilitó una de las organizadoras del evento.
I started again, but this time I wanted to be more objective and I mentally positioned myself that it is an event related to Blockchain, so the main image should be about that.
Not only would it be the main image, I decided that it would encompass the whole poster, yet I selected a black background that would extend to the top and bottom of the poster.
On the other hand I decided to work with the red Hive logo, and the HiveMeetupArgentina logo that is designed with the colors and symbols of the flag of Argentina, this image was provided to me by one of the organizers of the event.
Otro detalle en el que presté atención fué en los colores, el color que predomina para el mundo de la Blockchain es el azul índigo, este es un color muy apropiado para el fondo de mi cartel ya que tanto el logo rojo de Hive cómo el del evento que es blanco y azul celeste contrastan muy bien.
Ahora debía elegir el tipo de letra, tamaño, color y ubicación dentro del cartel, esto, si se hace a conciencia toma horas de trabajo, y así fué, hice muchas pruebas hasta quedar satisfecha y con una ampolla en mi dedo meñique izquierdo debido a que trabajo desde mi teléfono y es en ese dedo dónde reposa la parte inferior del mismo.
Another detail I paid attention to was the colors, the predominant color for the Blockchain world is indigo blue, this is a very appropriate color for the background of my poster since both the red Hive logo and the event logo, which is white and light blue, contrast very well.
Now I had to choose the font, size, color and location within the poster, this, if done conscientiously takes hours of work, and so it was, I did many tests until I was satisfied and with a blister on my left little finger because I work from my phone and it is on that finger where the bottom of it rests.
Aunque Canva da la opción de trabajar con plantillas prediseñadas a la que luego se le pueden hacer modificaciones, yo preferí hacer mí diseño desde cero con una plantilla en blanco.
Elegí el fondo 100% negro, inserte la imágen de Pixabay, y le di el tamaño deseado agrandando la imágen hasta los bordes laterales.
Una vez que tenía el fondo y la imágen principal encuadrada, inserte uno a uno los logos, la aplicación da la opción de duplicar las imágenes y darles el tamaño deseado, al igual que moverlas de un lado a otro.
Es realmente sencillo, solo se presiona la imágen y aparece enmarcada en un cuadro que permite desplazarla o ponerla del tamaño deseado, solo hay que pulsar suavemente sobre el cuadro y desplazar el dedo sobre la imágen hasta llevarla al lugar deseado. Con una computadora está acción se puede realizar con más comodidad con el mouse. Pero la práctica y la paciencia ayudan mucho.
Although Canva gives the option to work with pre-designed templates that can be modified later, I preferred to make my design from scratch with a blank template.
I chose a 100% black background, inserted the image from Pixabay, and gave it the desired size by enlarging the image to the side edges.
Once I had the background and the main image framed, insert one by one the logos, the application gives the option to duplicate the images and give them the desired size, as well as move them from one side to another.
It is really simple, just click on the image and it appears framed in a box that allows you to move it or put it to the desired size, just click gently on the box and move your finger over the image until you bring it to the desired place. With a computer this action can be done more comfortably with the mouse. But practice and patience help a lot.
Para elegir el tipo de letra está la opción Texto en la regla inferior, una vez que se despliegan las opciones hay una gran variedad de modelos de letras, elegí un diseño con estilo de avisos nocturnos con fondos de neón, con esta escribí el texto principal (eslogan) adecué, el tamaño, y busque la mejor ubicación que a mí parecer debía ser en el centro para captar la atención visual.
Luego ubiqué los textos secundarios, uno en la parte superior y el otro debajo del logo que están en el centro. Hice lo mismo con el mes y la fecha pero con letras más pequeñas.
Para finalizar el diseño, le coloque el logo rojo de Hive en la parte inferior izquierda con una línea delgada que dirige a mi usuario en la plataforma Hive.
De esta manera terminé mí diseño de un cartel para el #hivemeetupargentina.
Estoy feliz de poner mi granito de polen en la colmena participando en este maravilloso concurso patrocinado por @ecency y @melinda010100 .
Para mí es la forma de dar impulso a este evento al que no podré asistir presencialmente por estar a miles de kilómetros de distancia, pero acompaño con mi corazón al equipo organizador formado por @janettyanez, @numa26, @amandaj, @lauramica y

To choose the font is the Text option in the lower ruler, once the options are displayed there are a variety of models of letters, I chose a design with style of night ads with neon backgrounds, with this I wrote the main text (slogan) I adapted, the size, and look for the best location that in my opinion should be in the center to capture the visual attention.
Then I placed the secondary texts, one at the top and the other below the logo in the center. I did the same with the month and the date but with smaller letters.
To finish the design, I placed the red Hive logo in the lower left part with a thin line that directs to my user in the Hive platform.
This way I finished my poster design for the #hivemeetupargentina.
I'm happy to put my grain of pollen in the hive by participating in this wonderful contest sponsored by @ecency and @melinda010100 .
