SOMN looked interesting, but you bring up really valid points about unprofessional and suspicious behavior. And, as you mentioned, there are plenty of ICO opportunities available, so why tread on dangerous ground?

No haven't heard of it. What is it?
Their goal is to bring encrypted messaging, chat, VoiP to the blockchain. According to their site the escrow is being handled by a couple guys from BitShares.
I've gotta do more research. Love to get your take on them. :)-~
