Find Your Outlet

Sometimes it's nice to have a little encouragement that humanity isn't completely lost to the craziness that we see in the media, from politicians, governments, "health" organizations, etc. I've found myself reverting back to spiritual, and sometimes nostalgic, sources to find my outlet for making sense of the turmoil all around.

When there is nothing but fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) everywhere we look, it's up to us to be the light in the darkness. It's up to us to take one step forward at a time, working together to recover from the situation we're in. Actions of the few have left the many to suffer the consequences.

We need to reconnect within our local communities and take back the power that many have so willingly given away. The power of the people is being used by their oppressors for petty means, personal financial gain, and other nefarious practices in the name of 'greater good'. Without reclaiming control and to building back from the bottom up, we will continue down this path of FUD.

It is the job of the people to dictate their needs to corporations in a free market, so only those corporations who have the will of the people at heart will continue to thrive.
It is the role of politicians to ensure continuity and protection of the unalienable rights of all people. Rights that are not granted or revoked by man, but are intrinsic to all.
It is not the job of politicians or corporations/organizations to "lead" the people or "permit" the people to enjoy essential liberties. Somewhere along the way, people lost sight that their job is to direct their Representatives [Government] on how to serve the people, not for the people to serve the government.

Video + Lyrics:

One day there'll be no more waiting left for our souls
One day there'll be no more children longing for home
One day when the kingdom comes right here where we stand
We will see the promised land, mmm

One day there'll be no more lives taken too soon
One day there'll be no more need for a hospital room
One day every tear that falls will be wiped by His hand
We will see the promised land, mmm

Hallelujah, there will be healing
From this heartbreak we've been feeling
We'll sing in the darkest night 'cause we know that the light will come
And there will be healing, hallelujah

One day there'll be no more anger left in our eyes
One day the color of our skin won't cause a divide
One day we'll be family standing hand in hand
And we will see the promised land, we will see the promised land

Hallelujah, there will be healing
From this heartbreak we've been feeling
We'll sing in the darkest night 'cause we know that the light will come
And there will be healing, hallelujah
Oh, yeah
I believe there will be healing, hallelujah

One day every knee will bow, every tongue will confess
One day when our tired and weary bones find their rest
One day when the power of evil is brought to an end
We will see the promised land, we will see the promised land

Hallelujah, there will be healing
From this heartbreak we've been feeling
We'll sing in the darkest night 'cause we know that the light will come
And there will be healing, hallelujah
And there will be healing, hallelujah
And there will be healing, hallelujah
