Steemit has been a lot of fun so far. I have been looking for reasons to move away from facebook, but still be able to share with people around the world. Tonight I celebrated with a fantastic Thai dinner with Thai beer.
I appreciate thise who follow me and those who will follow in the future.
As part of the celebration, Im going to send someone 3 Steem and will choose from anyone who makes a comment and upvotes my post or a comment I make in the next twelve hours ( around 10pm California time ). It does not matter how much I earn from the post or if I dont earn any at all. The point is that its entertaining and demonstrates the amazing blockchain technology. NO resteem necessary, this is about fun, not money. Also, I will follow anyone who makes a comment as well.

I'm following you now. Went to Australia for the first time about seven weeks ago I think. I arrived on the opening day of Football so streets were empty and bars were packed. Had a great experience in Sydney and Melbourne, but was a short business trip. Hope to visit again soon and stay longer.

Hey buddy got any suggestions for new Thai dishes for me to try? I'm kinda boring I normally get crunchy pad thai or pad sie eiw. Looking for new ideas but always scared to try new stuff and that I won't like it.
Hmm, well I live in thailand now so i pretty much eat everything. I travel around with thai friend and family and let them order. Tables fills up with many to choose from and i nevwr know the names. I just eat :)

OK, here's my take. Steemit is better than Facebook becuz steemit pays members for content. Therefore, the value of steemit will not only have an "assigned" value like you get from the false pricing of Facebook stock via the Wall St money runners...you can also get a good feel about how the "real world" feels about the crypto currencies simply by followng the comments of those who have an "assumed" vested interest in the future. Right now methinks the current opinion of the future is priced too optimistically amongst the members. So it will be a fun/interesting learning expwerience just to observe how "real" sentiment plays into things. You will NEVER get that view by following the price of FB stock. I just issued a short at my blog btw. So follow along as I "try" and "game" sentiment as it applies to pricing at any given time. ...ifn yawnto that is. :-)
Iagree with you. For me, Im using Steemit for fun and to get educated on all kinds of things around the world. I do like the immense amount if information on crypto trading and that has been helpful. I dont forsee myself attempting to create complex content to earn in steemit. I do like the idea of getting many followers and using my vote to credit new people or deserving people. Im not big on the whale thing. Im following you now and sounds like I might a lot from your posts.

I know there are better and faster ways to build followers, but what I've done is simply engage on posts where I have interests. So far I have simply followed and looked for topics of interest or education, ready or view, and then ask questions. I have found Steemit to be a worldy education on places, cultures, food, sites to visit, and especially fantastic for anyone buying crypto currency. Ive never found an investing site with this much shared knowledge, stock blogs are usually biased and one-sided.
