The Invisible Investment Handcuffs

Perspective is an interesting thing. For a long time people outside of the United States envied the financial opportunities afforded to Americans.

However, is that still always the case?

I'm sure it is for many other countries, but probably not the case for many 1st or 2nd tier countrymen, especially those involved in crypto and asset trading in general.

There are so many resources to be able to exploit investment opportunity in the crypto and CFD space if one is not in the U.S.

Latest Example

Our good old friend GameStop. The GME mania is back in action and it is just a matter of time before the stock price is back down in the low teens.

How long, who knows. It is nearly inevitable to happen at some point though.

I'd love to place a speculative play on that. However, the options prices are so juiced with implied volatility that the premiums actually make it not worth doing at all.

Other options

Well, there are some CFD sites out there I recall. Problem is they all now require KYC (atleast the ones I know) and being in the U.S., we are on their NO-NO list.

This sucks cus I would be able to put on a leveraged short position with a very high likelihood of it being profitable. Especially cus I would make sure my liquidation price is above the peak of the last move when MEME power was full force as people sat at home with their covid money.

OH WELL.
