Basket of 15 Cryptos as of 21/05/2023
Hello, as promised last week I rebalanced the basket last Monday and have the recent pumpage action happening within the markets, the timing could not have been better. I dumped INJ and swapped it for Fetch (FET) which is an AI token. I almost lost the INJ when transferring it to the exchange by overlooking that I had to add a memo. Luckily, the exchange was Binance and they have a return procedure and after 2 days, the INJ appeared back in the trust wallet.
You can see above that I have highlighted the "current position" column. Green means we have sold this crypto and hold less now than when we started and red means we have bought this crypto and hold more now than when we started. Highlight green shows SOL is the best-performing crypto of our basket and highlighted red shows MATIC is our worst performer. It might be worth considering to swap MATIC out for another during the next rebalance. Why carry the deadweight just because it remains in the top 50?
I have gone a little fruity and added some colour into the above chart this week. I've done this to show the 4 different allocation amounts we have. I did the rebalance last Tuesday after uploading the report and for a weeks action, the allocations are looking ok. ETH with its recent 20% pump has made it our top position.
Our basket has outperformed HIVE over the past week which has increased the XV token book value to 2.51 HIVE which I think is incredible. This is really great to see we're 150% up but Im a paranoid guy and I remember HIVE was over 40 cents only a few months back so I'd expect HIVE to play catch up over the next few weeks and for the book value to drop back a little.
Oh, I forgot to say, "New time HIGH book value" (again), when it happens often I forget to say it. 🤣
Finally, we have broken through the 25k HIVE profit line and got half through to 30k profit. We're 3285 in the green this week and nothing wrong with that. Im sure it'll drop to under 25k profit at the same point again as the crypto gods are like that. No matter, the trend of the above chart is up and as long as the basket keeps outperforming HIVE, we're golden.
Round-Up
Really good week, the rebalance was done and then the markets have pumped like crazy the past few days pumping the value of our basket up by $2000. I have no idea what will happen in the coming weeks but I'd expect HIVE to catch up some and maybe get back to around 40 cents again. Plan for the best and expect the worst sorta way of thinking.
This is the first official week of the back 9 so to speak and this time next year, we will be preparing to wrap this project up and fingers crossed beable to bring a bunch of HIVE sitting on exchanges back to HIVE. We'll have zero impact on the price but if we can sell out 18k HIVE in Jun 23 and bring back 75k HIVE in Jun 25, we're doing ok by HIVE. If we wrapped today, we'd bring back 45k HIVE so 27k more.

Yeah, wrapped up today would be ok but what would i post about on Tuesdays, baa-hahaha. Im not sure how much growth we can expect, i had guessed if we finished at 3 HIVE each, that would be amazing and we're almost there halfway through!
Remember the plan and stay strong my brother. We wrap up before HIVE goes crazy at the end of the bullrun and then we converted to HBD when HIVE is $1-2.
