A tiring Monday night thoughts

in #lifelast month

If there is one thing that the users of this platform need to worry about is when the quality of your content is not up to specific community guidelines and rules. The consequence of these actions is either being muted in a specific community or attracting the attention of whales and ending up being downvoted without further notice.

Both of these won't be a good scenario to be in. It's going to be an annoying situation to be in.

In order not to violate a specific community's rules and regulations once you decide to contribute your content within the Community. I won't stress this enough, each of the communities has its own set of rules.

Some communities are not actively moderated so the rules were not strictly implemented while there are communities that have active moderators which are very strict when it comes to the implementation of the rules. I think the latter is a much better scenario to have because I know that the community will have much better content for everyone to read.

So far, the Community is the only way to organize the entire content that was posted to the blockchain. Without this feature then the feed will become chaotic and it will be very difficult to keep track of.

We haven't had a new tool or advancement in the Hive blockchain recently and I wonder why. That's maybe because there are not many developers who want to contribute to the blockchain or the platform. Good ideas don't always come by and if there is then will be very difficult to implement. Not to mention the funds required for a developer to keep working on the development of a specific project.

As the bull market is getting nearer, I'm curious whether our blockchain will be able to attract developers who are committed to creating a new tool for our blockchain.

I'm looking forward to the coming year of Hive!

I had some bad experiences when I followed all the rules but still got warned and banned from posting further. The admin said that there is an unsaid rule here that you have to show yourself in your posts. I also asked why this is not written in the rules. But their community, their rules. Topic closed. and then as you said about the consequence.. who wants to go in that direction haha!

In my humble opinion, I think that was not fair.

Anyway, as there are plenty of Communities to follow, I think it’s better to simply post in another Community instead of arguing with them 😅

Thanks for your supportive words. 🙏
Well, I know there are other communities but big accounts don't take interest in the blogs posted in all of them, and I'm not blaming anyone for this. Obviously, they have their own preferences. But I think this leads to arbitrariness in some communities. Due to this people who value self-respect give up the ideas of writing on those topics, because they know they will be discriminated against. :)

You’re absolutely right about what you said here. The negative impact of it is apparent and if I’m in the shoes of those that was treated that way, I will be deterred in contributing to those communities as well.

Communities have been playing a fundamental role with their guidelines, I agree. I just feel upset to see some new users being silenced or placed on a blacklist without being informed beforehand, they end up missing chances to be well-remunerated without even understanding what happened. I think a very important step for our ecosystem would be an initial tutorial for those who are joining, this would help avoid some errors.
