Some of us would simply say that what we do here in Hive is just a pastime, or a hobby, or a side hustle but in reality, we are preparing for something greater than that. We may think that what we earn here is good enough to feel rewarded for our efforts in contributing to the platform. It could be true for some however, some users may think that it's a business or the beginning of a venture.
It's a phenomenon that I learned from mainstream media where full-time content creators are revealing how their journey started. One of the content creators on YouTube that I often watched mentioned in one of his videos that he started his venture from a very humbling beginning. Utilizing his savings to buy the equipment that he needed to start a food vlogging channel. It took him a couple of months until he finally saw a small incentive for what he was doing until the channel grew up to a point where he was able to engage a production team that helped him produce his latest videos.
I always think of this story whenever I feel like I'm losing grip on my goals here on the platform. The lack of time and energy to stay consistent with my activities may reach a point where I don't have the motivation to even write the title for my post. Eventually, the promise that I made myself will eventually surface and kind of remind me to come up with an idea and start writing about it.
We all need to find a way to re-ignite the passion and the drive to keep going in this venture.
And in every venture, we should always find a way to share valuable insights with everyone who reads our blog.
