RE: Nature Is Suffering Because of Us !!

in #life7 years ago

My in laws used to farm trees and I can assure you people do replant. It's no different than any other farm really, you plant, grow, cut, and repeat. The problem isn't cutting trees down for paper and homes, at least not in the U.S. The problem is expansion and development. I'm talking about developers who clear cut an area and turn it into a neighborhood. If you ever watched Google's 30 yr time-lapse, you can see a perfect example of what I'm talking about. You can witness urbanization of forest and lakes drying up. You combine that with natural disasters like floods and forest fires and we're in serious trouble! I'm actually going to start working to grow Ponderosa pine tree saplings in the near future to transplant in areas that have been devastated by disease, flood, fire, and insects.

we are curring more trees than we can plant, I do know that some people re planted their trees.. but we all know people want their profits to go up, therefore have you ask if busissness outside the U.S. re plant their trees ? people that are cutting down the rainforest, its said that it takes up to 60 years for a tree to be ready to be cut down and it takes less dan a year to cut down tones of trees. you right when it comes to expansion, we are growing in numbers like never before to a point where the goverment is going to start to take action before over population get all of us in trouble ... thanks for your comment. :)
