I got my lie in which I knew I would need after yesterdays shopping trip. I was in a deep sleep woken by hubby trying to open the curtain rail packaging, I think that was his intention. He had painted the bannister then started on hanging my new curtains.
I still need some window covering for when the curtains are open. I have ordered the bedside tables, mirror and lampshade. It took us hours finding the right lampshade, I wanted a statement piece that stood out whilst hubby being a man wanted something boring.
I think its gorgeous, it will definitely stand out, it gives the bedroom a feminine touch. I am hoping to find bedside lamps that match. Then ask I need is a matching chest of drawers for under the window.
We are so close now, I never thought it would ever be possible. With me staying in my bedroom so much I needed a place where I could relax instead of looking at walls that needed painting or lying in a bed that needed changing. I can now sit up there and enjoy my own place.
Hubby is chuffed with himself, he's a bricklayer and a really good one usually putting his hand to any other trade he makes a mess, always makes mistakes but this time he has worked with wood to give the wall a panelling effect plus painted the whole room and done an amazing job.
I have promised my youngest daughter that once ny bedroom is finished we will give her a hand with her she has quite a few plans. Since finishing with her last boyfriend she is not thinking about replacing him she wants her own space but can't afford to move out so the next best thing is to do her bedroom to what she would like them she can have her own space then uf she wanted company she can come sit with me and her dad.
I have already bought her new bedding, throws and cushions to get her room started. She wants mustard and green, plus wants a part of her room to be a reading area with loads of books and some where nice to sit.
I haven't done anything all day, I was prepared for this after doing to much yesterday, I have got to know what I can do and What I need to do after. Today has been a testing day as well tomorrow then maybe Tuesday I may start doing a little housework. I can't rush as my body will give me a kick to slow down or I'll be stuck in bed. I have lived like this for a long time,
Its now my bedtime and the pups want there supper. Its getting closer to D Day Wednesday when we have to take Geordie in to the Vets for his dental work. I have to think positive that he will make it and come home after. I darent think about any other outcome.
